My 4-year-old floofball is in training to be a go-cat. Assuming she passes her apprenticeship we will soon be heading out on 2,000-mile road trip.
Gracie is mellowing as she ages, but she's not the easiest of cats. Gracie hates our standard hard plastic pet carrier with a passion. She foams at the mouth trying to escape.
Today I put this carrier in the passenger seat attached to both the seat belt and headrest with straps designed for the purpose. I left the top unzipped. She's comfortable in a light harness, so I carried her to the car, placed her in the booster seat, and attached her harness to the strap inside the carrier.
With that gentle restraint, she could move around, look out the window or burrow safely into her blanket. Voila! She sat there looking at me with curiosity, then curled up quietly. During our 30-minute apprenticeship ride, she attempted to climb out of the carrier, but the gentle restraint held her back so she draped herself off the side closest to me and stayed there looking around for a few minutes before curling up again. I'll post a better picture after our next apprenticeship ride.
I couldn't be happier with the design and construction of this carrier. Great value, too.
