Product Description

The Korg B1SPBK is a compact digital piano that’s designed for beginner and veteran players alike. Realistic sound reproduction is accomplished using Korg’s servo-assisted Motional Feedback (MFB) technology combined with a pair of full-range speakers and a passive radiator. To further replicate the feel of an acoustic piano, the B1SPBK has weighted keys that simulate resistance depending on the register you’re playing. In addition to emulating the sound of a classic grand piano, this electric piano can also simulate seven other instruments including a harpsicord and two types of organs. This digital piano also includes a three-pedal unit so you can fully recreate the range of sounds an acoustic piano is capable of. This is a great digital piano for creating, sharing, recording, and performing.

Includes:

Korg B1SPBK Digital Piano (Black)
Knox Full-Size 19-Inch Piano Bench (Black)
"Focus on Piano" Piano Learning Guide Three flavors of acoustic piano are provided along with two electric pianos, a harpsichord, and two organ sounds—each delivered with precise realism. This set of frequently used sounds lets you expand your repertoire to cover many genres. The dedicated PIANO PLAY button instantly recalls the Concert Grand Piano sound. To achieve the deep, rich tones of an acoustic piano within its compact body, the B1 Digital Piano relies on KORG’s servo-assisted MFB technology, a pair of full-range speakers, plus a passive radiator. Together, these elements reproduce the rich, resonant tones that emanate from the large body of an acoustic piano, with particular attention paid to the low-frequency range. The speaker system is equipped with an active servo that controls the speaker cone, allowing low frequencies to be reproduced with minimal distortion. It achieves an ideal frequency response and reproduces lower frequencies accurately; any coloration caused by the speaker enclosure is immediately corrected.

Beginner, beginner piano player here. Learning music theory too. Decided to get it right from the start. Was initially going to go with a cheaper model, for $300 less, but after reading not such stellar reviews, I figured if I'm going to be serious about playing, why not buy something worth practicing on.PROSThe piano itself is aesthetically pleasing.Does it mimic the sound of a real piano? I bought a piano to learn and play piano. That's it.CONSThe pedals are a nice touch and the right pedal does sustain the notes.. however, the entire pedal piece, can move around when playing since its not attached.. it merely slots into the main frame.Worth the money ! Before I begin, I must say that I know absolutely nothing about pianos. I've never played a piano before. We purchased this piano for my 7 year old son who started taking piano lessons a couple of weeks ago. His instructor required an 88 weighted key piano, which we did not have. She found several digital selections on Amazon and sent them to me. We ultimately decided on this one. To me, it sounds just like a piano and he has been able to successfully practice his music. I do love the fact that it has volume control and it also has a headphone jack in the back of the piano which we have not tried using. The piano came well packaged and without any damage. It was simple to set up and took us about 30 minutes. We are very happy with our purchase so far!

We bought this three years back and we started using it recently. In few months, the two key E and F stopped working. I suspect we don't have warranty and cost to fixing this will be too much compared to buying a new one.

Korg really put out a solid beginner digital piano here. I was a little hesitant buying it, considering what other keyboards in this range cost vs. the features they carry. The sound is really excellent, and at a 128 polyphony rating it carries a longer history of sounds than most comparable boards. The only drawbacks that I found, and they aren't a big deal for me but might be for you, are 1.) that there is only one headphone jack as the only output other than the built-in speakers (which are amazingly good), and 2.) there's mild looseness between the cabinet and the board, but it doesn't have any impact on playing, just when attempting to move it.
Overall 4.5 star. Highly recommended.

The keyboard has very good sound but I had problem with one of the pedals since the spring was damaged maybe because it has plastic parts bad quality and the pedestal moves a lot if you play parts fast and the seller's warranty is very bad just gives 30 Days that can happen in that time practically had saved until the date of Christmas I do not recommend a advice look for products that sell Amazon with more extensive guarantee very bad investment

This piano is great for all pianists, from beginners to masters. It is electronic, yet sounds like a real piano. It plays well, and fits in my room. I had a keyboard before, but I needed to play loud and soft sounds, and have pedals, so this worked out perfectly. It is great for those who are dedicated to music, yet don't have enough space for a traditional piano. I fully recommend getting it. This product is helping me truly excel at piano.

Stand is not as sturdy as we felt comfortable with so we had to put the piano in the corner for more stability. (Don't want to dump an expensive instrument on the ground!) The piano itself has a great sound and the keys are weighted wonderfully. This is a wonderful instrument for someone wanting to learn, or teach a beginner, who lives in an apartment. No bothering the neighbors and easy to move. Because we didn't want distractions and just wanted a piano, the lack of inputs and outputs was actually a plus.

You'll want to invest in either buying or making a cover for this as it doesn't come with one.
