This is an observation, not a criticism. In my opinion, the bands don't offer enough resistance to really be used for building muscle size. They might be better considered as used for toning. What I've done is combine all five bands together, which do provide a fair amount of resistance (I've also had to tie on a 6th loose band to get the resistance I want). Fortunately, the 'D' ring that the bands attach to on the handle is large enough to add several bands. This kit does appear to be of high quality, and I have no issue with that, and for certain exercises I'm sure one or two bands work fine. I got them to hang on the door, and do the "band pull-up" move where I have one knee and one foot on the floor, and pull them toward me. My suggestion is to hang them close to the hinge side of the door so you don't put extra pressure on the doorknob side, lest it burst open (trust me on that one).EDIT: I have to update this, because I kind of messed up. I failed to notice these come in a variety of tension sets. I ordered the "105 pound" set, which means if you add up the tension in all 5 bands, it comes to 105 pounds, which I didn't find to be enough. I should have ordered the "150 pound" set. In fact, I did go ahead and exchange the smaller set for the larger one with no problem. Just be careful to order the correct set of tensions!

I've used them off-and-on for that whole time. During quarantine, I can say that these have offered me almost all of the same exercises I would normally do at the gym. That said, I don't think you can get super muscly with these, but they offer ample resistance to keep your body strong, and offer enough versatility to exercise muscles that would normally require expensive machines. I definitely work up a sweat when I work out with them, and I'm happy to say that they still show no signs of breaking. Every friend who has seen me use these says they're waiting for them to snap, and I always think, "keep waiting; it ain't gonna happen."

I would recommend this to anybody who wants to start learning about exercise and ways to stay in shape because 1) they don't take up much space, 2) they're easy to use and you can easily look up new exercises online, and 3) they offer versatility and adjustability. I could give a set of these to my 50 yr old aunt and as long as she felt motivated, she could stay in great shape with a set of these, or to a child who wants to get into weight training as an alternative to dropping a ton of money on weights or machines.

Great product, now I'm just hoping I don't jinx myself and have one of these snap a week after I post this lol.

What I've done is combine all five bands together, which do provide a fair amount of resistance (I've also had to tie on a 6th loose band to get the resistance I want). Fortunately, the 'D' ring that the bands attach to on the handle is large enough to add several bands. This kit does appear to be of high quality, and I have no issue with that, and for certain exercises I'm sure one or two bands work fine. I got them to hang on the door, and do the "band pull-up" move where I have one knee and one foot on the floor, and pull them toward me. My suggestion is to hang them close to the hinge side of the door so you don't put extra pressure on the doorknob side, lest it burst open (trust me on that one).

I enrolled in an age 50+ online exercise routine and the fitness coach recommended this particular brand of exercise equipment. It looks very sturdy and has different size stretch bands representing resistance in pounds. The icing on the cake is that the seller sent me an e-mail with an attachment containing 50 exercises and a reminder to register for the 1 year warranty.
I'm adding to my review after I finally got to use the bands. It was scary at first wondering if the bands were going to snap back at me. No problem! My online fitness coach didn't provide enough pictures or directions on how to use the bands but I could see that he often used more than one band. Wait a minute, the set comes with only one each of 5lb, 15lb, 20lb, 30lb and 35lb resistance. Easy, to increase the 35lb to 40lb, just add the 5lb band or whatever higher resistance you want.

I have had these for a few weeks now and I must say that I'm thoroughly impressed with the packaging and quality of these bands. You get everything you see in the product pictures and it is exactly as advertised. There is an instructional pamphlet that details several different exercises possible with these bands with images of the different set ups. The foam bars are sturdy and I had no trouble getting a good workout from using the bands with the bars. You can stack the bands for even more resistance if the single bands aren't cutting it. The instructional pamphlet tells you the varying resistance levels of each bands color, so you'll want to hang onto it. There is a door strap that is also included that can be used for doing more elaborate exercises by using the door as a resistance post. I like that the company has provided a travel bag with a string tightening mechanism for easy storage of the bands when not in use.

There isn't really anything I can fault this product on. It is truly a terrific exercise product that will get you results if you put in the effort of using it. A plus is that it is so mobile and compact in the storage bag that I leave it by the television set so that I can get in a little exercise while I am watching TV. When I travel, I'll be sure to pack this item as well for working out while I'm away from home. Get this product today. You won't regret it.
