This is an observation, not a criticism. In my opinion, the bands don't offer enough resistance to really be used for building muscle size. They might be better considered as used for toning. What I've done is combine all five bands together, which do provide a fair amount of resistance (I've also had to tie on a 6th loose band to get the resistance I want). Fortunately, the 'D' ring that the bands attach to on the handle is large enough to add several bands. This kit does appear to be of high quality, and I have no issue with that, and for certain exercises I'm sure one or two bands work fine. I got them to hang on the door, and do the "band pull-up" move where I have one knee and one foot on the floor, and pull them toward me. My suggestion is to hang them close to the hinge side of the door so you don't put extra pressure on the doorknob side, lest it burst open (trust me on that one).EDIT: I have to update this, because I kind of messed up. I failed to notice these come in a variety of tension sets. I ordered the "105 pound" set, which means if you add up the tension in all 5 bands, it comes to 105 pounds, which I didn't find to be enough. I should have ordered the "150 pound" set. In fact, I did go ahead and exchange the smaller set for the larger one with no problem. Just be careful to order the correct set of tensions!
