    We're huge Clue fans in our household, so we scooped up this new version as soon as we found out about it. The addition of Mrs. White's ghost takes the classic game to advanced levels. Mrs. White can be a savage or a saint.You summon her by rolling doubles with the dice. Here are a few ways she can help you:- "Take a sneak peek at one of the cards in the envelope."- "Each player who has items you have included in your question will reveal them to you."Here are a few ways she can wreck your game:- "Instead, each player must swap their sheet with the player to the right."- "Instead, swap your hand with the person to your left."The idea of handing off your private sheet to another player or giving them all the cards in your hand is maddening. It really raises the stakes.For us, the only big downside has been that it's difficult to use the Mrs. White cards if only 2 people play. The box lists it as a game for 2-6 players, but for 2 people, some of the Mrs. White cards would end the game. Example: if you're told to swap cards with the other player, then you both know what each other has. There isn't much point in finishing.So to really enjoy the maximum potential Mrs. White offers, you need a group of people. If you can max it out to 6 players, there will be plenty of chaos and challenges to make it a competitive game.We bought this as a game to play while in quarantine, so I don't know when we'll get to enjoy it with a group and truly enjoy Mrs. White's ghost.Lastly, I love the ability to play using Alexa, but it's buggy. The music is spooky and makes great ambiance. But after a few minutes, the Alexa skill turns itself off. It doesn't make any sound again until you say, "Alex, ask Mrs. White." So that's unfortunate. But Alexa is not required to play. You can use the included card set instead and get the same results.

    I paid extra for the Alexa enabled version only to find out that the feature was discontinued 2 years ago! It didn't say that anywhere on the listing and I was in a hurry so I only skimmed through the reviews (my mistake). The quality of the game was excellent otherwise so I contacted Amazon chat and received a credit for the price difference. I also asked them to update the listing information. If you want to buy, get the classic version! The game is still fun to play!

    1. The game came in a sturdy box. It was packaged well for transport and the gameboard is very sturdy and heavy enough it lies completely flat and stable when opened. Rare these days.
    2. The tokens, cards, and dice nice quality and should last with a lot of use.
    3. The rule of play is much simpler than classic clue had while kids growing up (still have that game) but wanted a new one for grandkids.
    -comes with "clue cards" where people have to put card down in front of them for all to see or some such action that is a free show of cards which takes out a big chunk of difficulty. Since for young grandkids who have never played and who are not the crazy competitive family my children, my mother and myself were, I'll survive...for now. Not going to take it easy on them forever and they don't have to be used.
    -has 2 dice to roll each turn. Original had 1 if I'm remembering correctly and all I see in that box. Again, will deal with it because can take 1 away when get better at play. Both die have the magnifying glass emblem on 1 square that allows for picking a clue card and if roll 2, then can pick up 2 clue cards. But if decide not using them, the magnifying glass can count as a 1.
    **only reason taking time to write this review is that I was totally in awe at the amazing quality of this game for such a low price. Higher priced games don't have as good of quality. Great buy if want a gentler game. Great buy if a merciless grandma who plays to compete and win since the rules and cards that make this game easier don't have to be used to play.

    Awesome game! Ms. White is out, in a way, but the sexy Dr. Orchid is in. Original board layout and weapons. Ghost of Ms. White option to shake things up, but you can play without her.
