I replaced an antique CRT TV in the kitchen with this one. The TV itself not that smart, but with the addition of a Roku it now does everything I want. Picture quality is good, sound is good for such a small TV. Three things that I really appreciate is that you can select the power on input, it has a timer that switches the TV on and off at preset times/days and the fact that it plays mp4 and mkv files (and probably others but I have not experimented) from a USB flash drive. The remote works well, the on screen menus are comprehensive and logical, about the only thing I don't like is that it only has one USB port (which means I need to unplug the power for the Roku if I want to plug in a flash drive). Summarizing, good value and good quality, but include a Roku in your budget because the LG app store is very limited.

I love this TV! I didn't want to pay for a cable box (this is a 2nd tv and had box taken away due to cost of rental) - it took me awhile to get the tv going right - but after studying and fooling around with the remote control I found all I was looking for. I have an inexpensive antenna which I attched to the torch lamp I have net to the tv (it was tiling and when I raised it high - it was perfect.) I got it hooked up to my wifi and get many channels - would like a few more but will look for another box for that. It works better than my larger TV and is much newer! Perfect HD - Amazon is one of the Apps on it - so you don't need your firestick. If you have subscriptions to any of the streaming channels it's perfect. Has YouTube, Hulu, Netflix and many more. It took me awhile to find THE SMART in the smart TV (I hate instructions) but the home button brings you right there. I recommend smart TV with flying colors. Love it! Day 2! :D

Overall I really liked this TV. Nice size for the bedroom. Easy setup, and connectivity to my WiFi. Nice clear picture and sound. HOWEVER - the reason I bought this TV, was because the description read that it had Hulu on it. I don't have cable, I have Hulu Live streaming. I got the TV all setup, WiFi connected, and went looking for Hulu.... There was Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Pandora... but no Hulu. I searched the available apps. No Hulu. I Googled, and apparently there's no way to add Hulu to this TV. I was told I could "cast" it from my phone. Ok, yes, technically I can, (and did). But that was not why I bought a "smart" TV with Hulu installed. I don't want my phone tied up having to "cast" to my TV. Really disappointed. Some reviewers stated that it didn't have Hulu, some said that theirs DID. Guess it's a crap shoot... Thankfully it had free return, and I hadn't thrown away the box. Back to Amazon it went.

I needed a small television for my bedroom during a recent convalescence following surgery, but I didn't want to spend a lot of money on something I was really only going to need for a short time. Chose this unit based largely on cost, and was very pleased with the results. I definitely would recommended this television.

Pros include a very good picture (I thought I needed 1080p, but with the small screen, 720p is plenty of resolution), easy and intuitive setup, and a wide range of included apps (including Amazon Prime and Netflix, the two streaming services I use most frequently).

As for cons, the only one of any import I noticed was related to the sound. Although the volume went up high enough to hear across a room, the quality of the sound suffers at louder volumes, with a loss of clarity. A good sound bar or other secondary option would be necessary in a large space, or in an environment where there is a lot of background noise.

We purchased this smaller TV to place in our Kitchen. The size was perfect, the picture quality is great for 720p and the sound is good but not great, but for where it's located, it satisfactory for us. The stand we really like because we can push the TV into the corner and have counter space whereas most of the TV's have the stands on the ends.
The biggest con and really the only reason we dropped it 2 stars is because we were really looking forward to was to not have to use our Fire Stick access HBO Go/Now, HULU and other apps. All of the apps are pre-loaded and you can't add additional apps. Huge, huge bummer and if it wasn't for the all the other good things, we would return it.
One other thing, we had to return the 1st one they sent because they sent one that was already opened and was either a floor model or a return. All of the packaging was missing, the remote already had the batteries in it, the power cord was undone, and the mounting screws were missing. Very odd. Amazon made good on it and immediately sent a brand new one out.
TL/DR: Great TV, Great Price, Can't download additional apps beyond the pre-loaded ones.

The WiFi works very well even from my bedroom, that's very good, I'm impressed. Putting the TV together with the base wasn't that hard to do either and setting it up wasn't that hard either. Yes, I was impressed with the TV, setup and also the price was very good. I would recommend this TV to others. It is indeed a nice picture to watch.
