We looked at a lot of freestanding towel racks and wanted to try one out to see how it would work in our bathrooms. We didn't want to spend too much, but wanted to spend enough to get something of decent quality. This product was a great purchase -- the price was right, it looks good, and does its job. I really liked the assembly, as there are no small wrenches or any other 'throwaway' tools. The knobs at the end of the bars are used to screw in the bars to the frame, so everything is self contained and you can get the rack assembled in under 10 minutes.
The rack is a tiny bit wobbly, but not enough that it's bothersome. If you hang regular sized bath towels, they do pretty much hit just an inch or two above the "storage shelf" so we don't use the shelf for anything.
Overall, a great purchase! We plan to purchase another one for our second bathroom.

My husband and I just finished remodeling a 40’s home and rather than hang towels on the wall, we wanted a freestanding towel rack to put in front of our water-heat radiator to warm them up before use.
