Superstar on suction! The dust bunnies hear the vacuum coming, start trembling with fear , and run up to the vac head to surrender!! I can suck a full canister off my 8x10 living room carpet every other day. I have kids and furry critters, so there is an Abundance of dirt- but this shark kills it. There’s a removable filter in the head- if you take it out and wash it At least every month, it will keep its beastly suction power.
If your main objective is clean floors- This Is the a vacuum for You.
Cons- I’d’ve taken more than one star for these failings, but the super-suck makes up for these: the motor is loud and has an annoying high pitch squeal. The handle isn’t very comfortable. This machine did not last as long as I thought it would/should- the hose in the carpet head cracked after a year (several other reviewers also note this failing) and I had to duct tape it. After 2 years the motor quit altogether. But - it was still so beloved a vac, that I bought this new one exactly like my old one.
