This is a nice compact set with a surprisingly large amount of tools and of better quality than I expected for the price. I'd planned to use this for short trips ( by car, not sure they'd pass TSA inspection) Of course, function is the vital criteria here so the attractive case is only a nice bonus.

Luckily, this set has solid tools. They're not likely to handle overgrown or extremely thick nails but the the tools handled my nails quite well. The tweezers are among the best I've found and as good or better than specialized tweezers sold individually for a premium price. I'm also very happy with the clippers, scissors, etc.

The case is well padded on the outside, lined on the inside, and closes well. My only reservation concerns the snap lock which opens this case. It seems a bit flimsy and so I'm keeping this case unlocked. All the tools are firmly held in place inside so I'm not worried they'll slip out.

I'm guessing my nails are average : not particularly prone to breaking, not difficult to trim, etc. If that's how you'd describe yours this set should be fine.

I received the manicure set about 3 days ago. I have used the larger nail clippers and the cuticle cutter. First impressions are great, however, the manicure set I received was not stainless steel, but instead were tungsten. I actually would prefer tungsten over steel anyway b/c it will hold up even better than steel over time. The case it came in was different than the picture, but I am not that picky, but if you are, I would contact the seller beforehand to confirm everything.
The clippers were very sharp and seem well-made. When clipping, the pressure used did not cause the clippers to bend awkwardly like some other cheap clippers can do. There are no grips on the clippers but they fit very well with my medium sized fingers. They are weighted well. Not light at all, but not overly heavy.
The cuticle cutter is SHARP. I did cut a little too low on my thumb, which caused some bleeding, but overall, I am very pleased with my purchase. I am not sure what some of the tools are so I need to educate myself some, but for the value, this seems like a great starter set that will last a long time.
I gave this item a 4 out of 5 b/c the case and type of metal of the tools that I was supposed to get was not what I initially ordered. As aforementioned, getting a different case than expected was not an issue and getting a tungsten set over a steel set it better in my opinion, however, I feel I should base my review on the overall purchase as it should be honest and unbiased. On a side note, I did receive this item at a discounted price in exchange for providing this review.

I purchased this Mani/Pedi set by Beauty Bon on a lightening sale, with the exception of not getting the cuticle snippers I am very satisfied with this set. I've had no problem with the clippers, I've used them on my dry nails and my granddaughter's soft nails. The other tools work well too, they are just a little shorter than I'm used to using. I was especially impressed with the eye brow tweezers, very fine tip worked very well on my brows. The case is great, a good way to keep everything together. I figured at this price point the clippers probably won't last forever, I'll just toss them and replace them in the case with the new ones when the time comes.

I'm satisfied with this purchase and would buy more if I find it on sale again. I would recommend this set at the sale price, and would purchase this as a stocking stuffer or other small gift. I would give this 4/5 stars if it had all the pieces, since it is missing the cuticle snippers I'm docking it to 3/5.

Items like this make me lose faith in Amazon reviews... The case is nice, i'll give them that. But the clippers and tweezers are probably the worst I ever tried. More on those clippers, they are extremely dull. I've tried using it to trim my fingernails but instead of smooth cut, you'll feel like you broke your nail off with the high amount of pressure you have to put on it.

It hurts!

After it "cuts", it sends a vibration up the rest of the nail that hurts like mofo. Perhaps the idea is to scare the rest of the nail to stop growing. But if that were the case I wish they would have explained it in the description.

As for the tweezers, absolutely cheap quality. When you apply pressure to the pinch, the tweezers teeth(?) are so thin they bend out of each others way and it fails to grip anything.

Conclusion, nice box, if you bought this, go ahead and head into a Target or whatever store of your choice and buy some real clippers and tweezers to replace the junk inside. The tools inside might just be placeholders to show you how nice a real pair of clippers and tweezers would look like.

Disclaimer: I did buy this item a few months ago and the seller did try to contact me to find out if i was satisfied. But, being the procrastinator that I am, I didn't try out the product till a few weeks after the purchase date and I never contacted the seller about my dissatisfaction. So, with that being the case, I didn't want to write a bad review for this product. But, seeing how highly rated this product is on Amazon, I felt compelled to shed some light of my experience with the product. It seems to me that the seller is interested in meeting your satisfaction so kudos on them.
