How did we get our start?

We thought it was unfair that the only things the motorcycle community was offered were either cheap knockoffs or products that cost an arm and a leg. So we started Nomad USA in our garage with a single jacket.

Why do we love what we do?

Riding. We work because we want to make our riding experience better and in doing so, we end up making it better for the motorcycle community as a whole.

Versatile and Comfortable

This jacket is both comfortable and versatile in multiple ways!

Overall Feel:
The outer fabric feels sturdy while the inner lining is soft and smooth. With the lining in I was cozy, though I haven't had a chance to wear it in the cold yet. The lining unzips and comes out easily, creating a lighter jacket (still with the tougher outer material and padding of course).
The back pads extend midway down my spine and the arm pads are nicely aligned over my shoulders and upper arms. I was impressed with the sleeve length-- enough to cover my long arms, but not so long that shorter arms would get swallowed up.
I was between sizes and sized up to a medium, but have a little space to spare so I'd say it's true to size.

Versatility:
There are vents and removable lining to adapt to weather, as mentioned above.
This jacket also has a lot of ways to adjust fit. You can use the snaps and Velcro straps to tailor it around your arms (3 places), waist, and collar.
I love the variety of pockets. There are couple are in the liner with sturdy Velcro closure, a zipped one inside the jacket, and a couple zipped pockets on the outside.
Overall, this seems like a nice basic jacket with some fun bonus features.

Viking Cycle Ironborn Women's Motorcycle Textile Jacket (XL, Pink)

BIG Bang for your buck! This is a lot of jacket for the money.

Fashionable: The overall trim, fit, and design identifies the rider as female, whether you choose the jacket with pink accents or all black. I love how the bottom skirting has a split-vented cut in the front and tapers to a point in the back (very cute). The three-tiered adjustable belts in the back are awesome in that they allow for more or less waist contour, making for an attractive and comfortable fit.

Functional: Where do I begin!? From the well-fitted body armor (elbows, shoulders & back) to all-weather protection & comfort, to an abundance of storage, this jacket offers it all! I rode my bike 26 miles into work this morning wearing it (with included liner) with the wind chill temp of 32-35 degrees and was perfectly comfortable. As for safety, in addition to the body armor, this jacket offers great night-time visibility by way of reflective trim. The jacket includes sufficient air vents that when opened provide much-needed airflow during hot weather and can be closed to keep you warm in the cold. Convenience is abundant via numerous storage pockets allowing you to carry most all of your smaller items needed on a ride.

I've seen far fewer features offered in more expensive jackets. This is a solid biker jacket and I guarantee it will not disappoint.

Great Jacket, sized down and still too big

UPDATE: I returned the small and got XS instead, much better fit, love this jacket! Have recommended to friends.

PROS: I really like how affordable this jacket is and how durable it seems to be. The color is exactly how I expected and there's POCKETS all over it! I love the idea of the straps on the lower back to make your waist more cinched and give a tighter fit and more feminine look, and I love that the sleeves have adjustable buttons to make them more or less snug around the elbows. It has really awesome vents in the back that unzip, as well as ones in the front that unzip and snap open for optimal wind capturing. I cannot rate this on water resistance because thankfully it hasn't rained since I got it and we've actually had some sun.

CONS: Obviously the armor is going to be cheap considering the price of this jacket, but it seems like it'll keep you safe from road rash at most city speeds. my biggest complaint about the armor is I intended on putting my own armor into this jacket and removing the armor given, but the hole for the back armor is so small there's no way i'm going to be able to pull it out without cutting the armor or ripping/cutting the opening larger. Maybe I didn't try hard enough or maybe they're all like this, who knows?

This jacket is just way too big for me or my body type(?). I originally ordered a Medium because the size chart and other reviews and my typical size all leaned towards Medium. It was just absolutely too big. I felt like I was wearing my boyfriends jacket. I ordered a Small to replace my original and I honestly think I would fit the XS and will probably end up getting that. The pics are the SMALL size and I have all the adjustments set to be as snug as possible. The arms aren't bad when fully adjusted down, but the back and sides are just wayy too bulky for my preference. I tried to show what I look like without the jacket and with in the same positions and posture, and especially from the side angle, I just feel like it looks way too bulky and completely eliminates my butt and waist from existence. I obviously don't care if I look a little chunkier because their is armor in this jacket, but all the bulk is just extra fabric or air around my body, so it's pretty unnecessary. Also the back fully adjusted creates this weird fold in the fabric and makes it look like you're about to grow angel wings or stab someone with your shoulder blades.

All in all, I don't regret buying this jacket but will probably have to buy ANOTHER size down to get the desired fit. For reference I am 5'7" 140lbs. I usually wear size 5 jeans, size medium shirts/jackets, size 6 dresses. This size will probably end up being my top layer in the winter since it has plenty of room for clothes underneath.
