Very similar to DXRacer, but for half the price! PHOTOS ATTACHED!
First off, my husband owns a DXRacer gaming chair (blue in photos). I purchased the Merax (red in photos), so I can compare the two. I actually put both chairs together myself (both the Merax, and the DXRacer). I can honestly say these chairs are extremely similar to one another! The main differences I've noticed are as follows:DXRacer allows you to adjust the arm rests not only up and down, but also forward and backward. Merax arm rests only goes up and down.DXRacers Lumbar pillow is easier to adjust because you can slide it up and down along the straps with ease. The Merax pillow does not slide, since it's attached to the strap. You can still adjust, but it takes a little more effort by sliding not just the pillow, but the straps have to move with it. You'll want to be careful as the straps are tight against the chair.DXRacer seat allows more leg room for spreading because the sides aren't as high as the Merax seat. This does not bother me though as I'm smaller than my husband, and therefore have plenty of leg room. I'm 150 lbs, my husband is 220 lbs. Therefore the DXRacer is more comfortable for him as he needs that little bit of extra leg room, whereas I'm comfortable in both chairs.As for putting them together, that too was very similar. The one area where the Merax won was the fact that I can SCREW the plastic side brackets onto the chair to hold them in place. The DXRacer doesn't have screws for the brackets, and instead is supposed to snap on via the holes. I tried, and tried, and tried but no matter what they'd fall off within minutes. We don't even bother trying anymore. We just leave them off and as a result the DXRacer shows the metal sides, instead of the plastic brackets that are supposed to attach to cover that up. Therefore, Merax did a wonderful job by allowing you to screw both side brackets on! I'll admit, it's tough getting that screw to match up with the chair as you're blinded by the bracket covering the hole, but once you find the hole and screw the bracket into place it stays!! Thank you Merax for providing what the 400 dollar chair could not here.Overall, I'm super happy I went with the Merax chair! I saved so much money by going with Merax instead of the DXRacer.

For anyone looking for a high quality gaming chair without breaking the bank, this is it.

I was really happy with the quality of this chair. It was easy to set up, looks beautiful, feels study, and most importantly, it's very comfortable. Don't expect it to be super soft like a bed since its comfortable in a different way. It's a racing chair and it feels like, well, a racing chair. It reminds​ me of my brother's Subaru WRX. If you've never been in a racing car, they are basically sturdy yet comfortable. Difficult to explain but I give it a 10/10 in terms of comfort.

The lumbar pillow feels really comfortable and it helps me sit straight and provides the perfect amount of support. I have 5 bulging discs so back support was something I was looking for and this chair has exceeded my expectations.

My only complain is that I like to "manspread" while gaming since that's how I feel comfortable and I really can't do it much in this chair since the seat is kinda narrow. I can still open my legs and I don't feel restricted at all, but I would have liked it a little wider. Again, this is a racing chair and that's how they are.

Lastly, I'm 6'0, 200 pounds and this chair feels perfect. The long back allows me to have full support and I'm able to rest my head back no problem. I really love this chair.

Will be getting another one soon for my little brother.

Received my chair today, and am very happy it came as described.
Packaging was very good, no damage to box, and seat was intact with no rips tears, or holes.
I would have given this 5 stars if the nuts and bolts would have been a higher grade of material,
and the base of the chair would have been metal instead of ABS.
It's a little on the stiff side, but it's new so it will take a while for me to break it in.
The arm rests can be adjusted to the equal height of my desk, so no more resting my wrists on the edge of the table top.
Size wise it's a good fit, I am 5' 9" 140 bls, and have plenty of room in this chair.
Don't waste your money on them $100 chairs, save a bit more and get something that will last a while.

as my very first gaming chair purchase, i absolutely love it. one of the best 140 dollars iv spent. the chair is very comfortable, has tons of cushioning (even in places you wouldn't think it would) and a lot of thought was put into it. the plastic covers for the metal brackets that hold the back of the chair screw on, not snap on like i assumed they would. assembly was easy and everything was pretty common sense and easy to figure out. the packaging came with everything you would need and i did not have to use any additional tools. even the shipping packaging was a bit impressive. there was several layers of foam and padding between each part to keep them from getting damaged and the box itself was pretty thick and durable.

literally my only two gripes are nit-picky and of personal preference but i bought the red edition and the "red" leather isn't quite as red as it is in the picture, its more of a faint red-orange but still red enough to know that it's red. not REALLY important, and it isn't anywhere close to a deal breaker but perhaps it may not even be noticeable to normal people but as an art major in college, i can tell. the other gripe i have is the screws for metal brackets that hold the back of the chair in place a bit hard to get started, but once you do get them started you will have no problems with them. the screws ultimately fit nicely and the chair's back is not wobbly.

I am digging this chair. It's exactly what I was hoping for. The $$$ was decent too. The set up was fairly straight forward and was easy enough for me to do by myself. I have used it a few days now and its very nice. I would have given it 5 stars but I had 3 minor issues. 1) The instructions were vauge. They put me in the right direction and we're decent enough but the pictures were hard to follow at times. 2) There are no instructions on installing the pillows. You would this this would be self explanatory. The top one was easy enough but as you can see with my photo the bottom one is clearly on wrong. I have figured it out since then but would have been nice to include something about that. 3) I was short some hardware peices. It came with these washers and these other ring type washers and I was short 1. Not a huge deal but annoying nonetheless.

Overall im happy and am looking forward to using this chair. Oh and it matches my backlit keyboard.

Update 11/20

I ended up returning this Chair back to amazon. I attempted to try and contact the manufacturer when the piece that makes the keeps the chair from sinking was malfunctioning. I was still under warranty. It was also slightly slanted to one side and was noticed when you spun the chair. Sent amazon videos and Everything. Amazon eventually just gave me a replacement. But the company never did follow through. After a 2nd replacement chair I can for sure say don't go with this brand. It's not worth it as this replacement does the same thing.
