Great stroller with option to grow with family!

We were debating between the Cruz and the Vista, and the 2017 vs. the older models. We decided on the 2017 Vista and couldn't be happier!

Pros (applicable for both the Cruz and Vista)
- Infant car seat and stroller seat can be placed in various positions (front/back facing). Seats easily click into the stroller.
- Adjustable handle makes it ideal for tall and short people
- Easy to use / collapse. Once collapse, the stroller can stand on its own
- Stroller seat cover has a peek a boo window to check on baby
- Big and accessible basket - we fit our diaper bag, jackets, groceries, etc. Sometimes our 15 lb dog sits in the basket with the diaper bag
- Easy to install. My wife was 8 months pregnant when she installed it
- Excellent customer service. They also have tune-up events - we haven't attended one yet
- Folding mechanism was fixed in the 2017 model so that it is replaceable. A common complaint for previous models is that the folding mechanism to collapse the stroller broke easily and couldn't be replaced. Also, the stroller has a 3 year warranty (once registered) but I'm not sure if this is covered by the warranty
- Narrower and lighter with better tires than various Vista models

Applicable to Vista (not Cruz) and ultimate reasons why we chose the Vista
- Bassinet is certified to be used overnight. We use the bassinet for walks and for sleeping in our room until Baby grows out of it. Bassinet is great when we visit family - no need to bring playpens, etc. Babies tend to grow out of bassinets quickly, so we didn't want to buy a bassinet for our room. We love that the bassinet can be used on walks and then in our room - It is perfect for our small place!
- Option to grow with family. Stroller can fit a second bassinet, infant car seat or regular stroller seat with an adapter
- Wider than the Cruz and can be used on more terrains

Cons
- Not the lightest (but also not the heaviest) stroller on the market. My petite wife does not have a problem lifting it into the trunk
- Wider than the Cruz, so it might be harder to navigate small spaces if you live in the city

Do you know those people who are really diligent and conscientious about sharing their experiences with a variety of products and contributing to the community ecosystem? I'm not those people.

What about the total product geeks – I mean that in the best way – who rave about specific details and have all these amazing observations? I'm not those people either.

I am the person however who – when my socks are totally knocked off – I logon and tell you about it. And so here I am. An evangelist for the Uppababy Vista which has immediately and significantly increased our quality-of-life. I'm going to be brief.

As a mom to a 19-month old, I already owned 2 shopper / umbrella strollers (one was a gift from a friend), 2 Bob strollers (ditto), and the snap-and-go infant car seat stroller. I was not in need of another stroller and yet...

Every morning I go on a big long walk with my 19 month old and my dog. This walk is vital for our family and especially for my health and well-being. A couple months ago my daughter started rejecting the Bob, which made those early-morning walks stressful and tenuous. I had to really cajole her to get into the Bob which was exhausting.

I accidentally discovered that she still really loved her Uppababy umbrella stroller (the G-Lite)?? I had assumed it was an across-the-board stroller rejection. I eventually figured out that she wanted to sit upright - something the Bob with all of its wonderful smooth handling doesn't support.

However the umbrella stroller absolutely sucks for anything more than a very short very smooth path and (as I said) we go for long 3 to 4 mile marathon walks over varied terrain. I need a stroller that will cruise through that! And so I went shopping. I read and read and read and read and narrowed it it down to the stroller and a bugaboo one.

The key features I was looking for were the ability (for the child) to sit totally upright plus big air-filled wheels which make for a smooth all-terrain ride. Also I'm happy that it accommodates two kiddos because I may have another someday.

Anyway we just got it. Put it together in 35 seconds (no need to read any instructions, it's so intuitive) and my daughter immediately climbed up into it and we've already been on two strolls and we only got it three hours ago! It's incredible. I have never loved anything more.

Although this stroller is expensive, the quality and ease of use is worth every penny. The baby’s grandmother was impressed with how far back the seat can lay and how it can fit a tiny baby up to large toddler in the same seat! Things I love: I can use the pram or the seat, I can add up to two more kiddos (number one reason I went with the vista), frame is lightweight and easy to fold. My baby has slept every night in the pram in our bedroom. The leather handles look extremely stylish. The ride seems very smooth on flat surfaces.
Con: I have the Peg Perego car seat and the attachment left the car seat very wobbly, just wish the company would add better attachments for all car seats.

We ordered this as a gift for our Daughter and Son in Law and new baby, the stroller arrived yesterday, was a BREEZE to assemble and i can't believe how solid this feels and how smoothly it pushes around, its amazing. We are still in the era of strollers should cost $79 ( ha!) so were skeptical, but now that it's here WOW! it's great.! What has really sold me tho is we had an issue with the sun shade on the bassinet piece, so I emailed customer service at UppaBaby late last night, today i already have the answer ( operator error it turns out!!) and Viola! all fixed. I am very impressed. so far and all I can say is this appears to be worth every single penny. You wont be disappointed.
