Did an extensive research before order this E-bike, and don't want to spend more than $500.So far i'm happy and would recommend to everyone. Bike arrive within two days, well package with two corrugated boxes, includes instruction and foot stands, UL charger. Setup is breeze, bike can fold and unfold within few sec. light weight, very easy to put in trunk.

I researched all the options out there for the most economical and practical electric mini vehicle (from bicycles to scooters), and found this to be the best bang for the buck, by far. It has actually exceeded my expectations. I've fallen in love with my new white and orange commute companion.

Advantages of the Swagcycle e-Bike over competitors:

1) It's super lightweight at only 24 lbs

2) It comes with a battery charge status monitor, electronic horn, and back and front lights built right into it
(although I decided to purchase a small and easily detachable bright front light and red back light, to optimize the length of the battery charge)

3) It's simple to operate and fun to use - just put one foot on one foot attachment while turning the throttle slightly, then as soon as you start to move add the other foot...and let the joy ride begin!

4) It has a built-in USB port to charge your phone if/when necessary

5) NOW FOR THE KICKER - (no, I didn't mean kickstand, but yes, it does come with a very stable one)
What distinguishes this cycle from other more modern and arguably more stylish electronic portables, is that it is shaped like a traditional bike frame. This means you can easily add a few very utilitarian items to its long-stemmed handle bar. i.e. The new detachable style canvas round and long "baskets" that convert in to shopping bags. Or a cup holder and a phone mount to name a few more. - This is a HUGE plus.

6) The incredible price! At $399 it's a bargain! What you might trade off in sleek design, you more than make up for in money saved and useful features.

Personally, I love the white and orange one. It looks a bit more modern and stylish, but to each his or her own!

Well, I owned the White/Orange model for less than 48 hours... and I loved it.

I bought it to commute to the train station from my house, take it right on board and then get to work from the station.

The first morning at the train station, everyone who walked by me was checking it out. In the afternoon, I had three separate conversations with people about the bike, all who seemed interested in it.

Today, while at work, I drove it to the bank and back. A guy in a Prius winding up his electric motor, chased me down and would not leave without the bike.

I told him he could buy it on Amazon for $399 (as of 05/12/2017), but he offered me $500 on the spot. I don't know who had the bigger grin on their face, but now he had a fleet of electric vehicles.

Currently, I am waiting for the Black/Gold one to show up this weekend (thanks, Prime).

Now, this bike is nearly perfect, but I have just one complaint; the front wheel bearing was a little noisy. Not too loud, just a constant "hush-hush-hush". My only concern is the friction caused from this would inherently lower your speed/range.

But this did not take away from the overall experience.

Everyone at my job loved it (I work at an auto body repair shop, so we're all gear-heads).

Also, my 4- and 5-year-olds both enjoy liesurely rides around the neighborhood while seated in my lap. One at a time, ofcourse.

The seat is not adjustable, but once they can conform to this bike, I'm sure I'll be forced to put in an order for them as well.

It's been almost 3 months with the Swagtron. And it's mostly been a positive experience. I haven't had any issues with it starting, running, braking, turning, etc.

I use the Swagtron as a pit-bike when I go to motorcycle racing events. It gets me around the paddock. And it also fits in the nook of space that I have after loading it with my gear. It performs great on flat areas. Any incline will make it work a bit, unless you are a 50 kid.

Speaking of kids... The biggest issue that I've had, if you want to call it a problem, is everyone asking to ride it. Everytime I need to go somewhere, someone has taken it. It's hilarious and annoying at the same time. It's a blast to ride and very convenient. And it only takes a couple of hours to fully charge. No dealing with gas.

Now for the cons. There aren't many
- Battery indicator is useless after riding it for more than 10 minutes. It will show half charged or lower.
- No On/Off button. Just Sport Mode button. Weird. Everyone gets confused with how to turn it on.
- No replaceable parts. This is a big con. I see needing brakes in the near future, tires, and kickstand.
- Can't replace the battery. I knew this before buying it. I'm still hoping one will become available.
- No battery upgrade.
- No security. A key would be nice. Now, there is no way to stop the kids (and adults) in the paddock from just taking it.

I really like the Swagtron. It does everything that I wanted it to do, and does it relatively well. For $400, it's a great buy so far. Hopefully it holds up.

Stopped working after 6 months neither the swagtron or Amazon will honour the warranty

I really love the bike is a versatility and its excess ability to move and use is very easy I wish I had more battery power and I wish I had more torque when going uphill but for commuting across town on a flat surface I can get an hour's worth of travel on a full charge which is great if you are a fit person if you have any weight on it, you still down greatly.

it stopped working in August and I have not been able to get help from amazon or swagtron.
