The Britax Advocate Click Tight Convertible Car Seat is sturdy feeling, aesthetically pleasing and expensive - which saves me from having feelings of guilt from "cheaping out" on my daughter's safety. The convenience of having multiple options of installation and the fact that it fits in our subcompact vehicle gives us the flexibility to place it in any vehicle in the family fleet. The materials used for the plastic and metal parts have a nice, high quality feel to them. The seat foam feels dense and memory-foam like, and the seat cover fabric feels soft, breathable and easy to clean. There are also cushy shoulder pads on the harness for extra comfort.
As with any car seat, there are little quirks that the Britax Advocate ClickTight Convertible Car Seat has. The first is the shoulder harness: be sure to adjust the chest clip so that it is high on your baby's chest so he/she won't be able to wiggle his/her arms out of them. The second one is the click-tight button that you have to flip and twist which is awkward at first.
Overall, I'm very happy with the purchase. It seems expensive at first, but based on the quality, I believe it will last until I drop my daughter off to college.
