This pump has the best stoppers--with three O-rings. I also bought Vacu Vin earlier. Those stoppers are less durable, I think due to the single fin, which wears. Of the four that came with Vacuvin, two have worn to the point that they leak air. This one I bought for my daughter, and it works after a year with non leaking.

Now the bad news. Price has increased by $10 since I bought it. Also, don't lose stoppers, as replacements are unavailable.

I bought this set because it was the most economical way to get more corks, which is what I really needed. This system works well to pull the air out of wine you wish to store. It takes some pumping to remove all the air out of a bottle without much wine left, but once the pump begins resisting, you know you have created a good vacuum. It does make the wine last longer, but we usually polish a bottle in two days.

I was concerned that the stoppers might not seal tightly, but we just run water on them, shake the excess off and insert into the bottle. We haven't experienced one instance where they did not maintain a seal.

I bought this as a replacement for Vacuvin pump. Works OK. Main differences:
1. When Vacuvin "clicks" when it is done pulling out the air - this one doesn't A minor annoyance, but I have to guess if the air is all out.
2. I noticed some moisture when I get to sucking all the air out - not sure if that means some of the liquid is coming out, or if it's just condensation.

Doesn't work/cheaply made

I had a similar design wine saver that just got worn out. So I thought this one could be the replacement. However; my last one was made far better than this one. The corks were made of soft rubber that fit and sealed the bottle securely, so when you pumped out the air in the bottle, the corks flexed and sealed the bottles really tight to create the perfect vacuum. Also, they were made very well , the holes were just right so the air was able to be drawn out.
This wine saver is NOT made well. The corks are made out of a cheap semi hard plastic material that can't flex like rubber to fit well in the bottle and create a good seal. Also, the holes appear to be clogged. I tried to pump the air out of my bottle, (I tried all 4 corks)and nothing happened; I could easily pull the cork out. So, in conclusion,
my old wine savor was the same design , corks and pump, but was made with rubber corks, and the pump was a bit heavier plastic. I could turn the bottle upside down , and not a drop of wine would leak out.
