The Creek Kooler is larger than I expected it to be. Standing at nearly 6' tall, this cooler is about as tall as my waist when stood on its end. It is a bit heavy, but I was very pleased to find that even if I load the cooler down to maximum capacity that the amount of additional drag is not extreme. I have found that securing the cooler to my kayak with an very short lash improves the experience of pulling the cooler behind my kayak, and for rivers with even a modest current the Creek Kooler is a delight to pull. Drag becomes more significant when there is no current to help push you along, and when moving against the current it becomes more extreme still, but moving even upstream is possible while towing this cooler behind your craft.
The Creek Kooler is very durable, and it is fully water-tight when the lid is properly secured (I tested this by attempting to submerge the cooler). I have taken this cooler on multiple overnight or multi-day kayaking runs, and even after pulling the Creek Kooler for over 20 miles I did not find that it significantly added to the amount of work that was required to keep my kayak moving along at a steady pace.
One other thing that I have found that I truly love about this cooler is that it tends to spark conversations with passers-by. I cannot count the number of times over the month or so that I have owned this thing which someone out on the water commented on it, or asked where I got it from.
i do believe this is my first transaction with this specific seller and everything has been fine so far. shipped through fedex and arrived a day earlier than first stated and in excellent condition. hope this helps.

Let me start off by saying I made the right choice and finally went for it as a birthday gift to myself. I recieved it days earlier than I was suppose to. Now even though I haven't tested it out yet. Kayaking season is only a couple of months away. When taking it out of the box it was way bigger than I thought & expected which wasn't bad thing. Built with a strong thick plastic material like my kayak, it looks like it can take a hit or 2 if Im going through small class 1 rapids with my kayak & the storage it has is incredible even if using it as a dry storage or a few cases of beer on a sunny day on the sandbar.
Few cons though. The rope handles that are on there one already busted and became lose when I tugged on it with a leash hooked to it for when pulling it behind my kayak. So I had to use some paracord and make myself stronger and better tied handles. Also replaced the string on the lid with paracord as well just in case after the handle came undone.
But the biggest issue I have with my Creekcooler is I have a REALLY hard time trying to twisting and closing the lid. It doesnt always line up and I have to push down and trying to get it to twist after many failed attempts to the point to where I have forced it on. It's kind of irritating because I wont be able to push down that hard when I'm on the water in my kayak or I'll more then likely tip and than capsize and I really dont want that & I've pitched the tips of my fingers multiple times while trying to close it as well. I'm not sure it theres something wrong with mine or not but I feel it should be this hard to put a lid on.So besides the lid issue and the struggle Im having when closing it along with the worry I have of capsizing because of this is why it's not getting a 5 star rating. Over all it's amazing cooler & good buy. I'm glad I finally made the decision to get it.

I had seen other reviews, and comments left on YouTube about how these leaked, but I never even had a chance to test it since it was broken before I could use it.
Consider buying one of these a fixer-upper project, because you're going to need to modify it to make it functional.
I tried buying two of them and it was the same construction for both. Why they aren't sold in a box with Styrofoam to support this delicate little cooler, I don't know. I guess it allows them to save a few bucks.

Pros; holds lots of beer/ food. It was really heavy but it stayed afloat. It wasn’t super hot out but it kept everything cold for three days. Even though it zigzagged it wasn’t hard to pull.( even in pretty nautical conditions)
This product needs refinement. I love the idea but it needs a better lid , a “hitch” hole or rigging point and it needs to pull better.
Cool concept, terrible product construction.
