Update: 2 years and still works as good, energy use is low
you don't really hear the compressor going on and off that
much, I can sleep with it on all night when needed.

perfect for old buildings or apartments with old
electrical wiring and won't pop up your breakers

Don't try and complain if you try to use it in a
big room or with a 120F weather outside, get real.

Better than nothing. It got me through a heat wave in a room that I couldn't put a window unit in, which is a good thing. BUT it just doesn't give the same quality of cool that a window unit does. The air feels more humid, less cool, very heavy. For next summer, I will have to think of another option because I won't use this for another year.

EDIT: I didn't make it through the whole heat wave. I returned it and slept in another room with a window unit. I don't know if it is the floor unit technology or just this brand, but the air quality feels heavy and not cool.

Noisy and not energy efficient

Does not cool in a reasonable amount of time. Had it set on high cool for 9 hours in a 9x11 bedroom. Set at 62 and after 9 hours the temperature went from 90° to only 84°. Took 16 hours to reach 70°. Once it cools down the temperature was comfortable but it just takes too long to cool off a small room.

No matter what temperature you set it at, when the room reaches that temperature, the compressor keeps running. It never goes into a lower cooling mode. Just runs on high all the time. It is also noisier than most bedroom air conditioners. Hard to sleep with so much noise.

Do not waste your money on this product. I would give it zero stars if I was able to.

I bought this for a renter who constantly said the room he rents is hot. Installation took about an hour and once it was turned on it was like heaven in there. His room is 11x11 and this AC can easily keep it at 64 degrees. He is happy which means I'm happy. Noise level is about what you would expect from a table fan. Have had no condensation issues or other problems.

Bought for my son's dorm room. Air output was great, easy to setup for vent to the outside window. Problem was that the drip pan filled up too quickly, at least 2 gallons of water a day had to be dumped. I bought this unit because I thought it would not drip since the description indicated self-evaporating unit. Probably my misunderstanding, but would not recommend this unit if you do not want to deal with the drip pan.
