From the brand

Product Description

The Movo GH600 Carbon Fiber Gimbal Head with a vertical mounting system can hold up cameras weighing over 30 lbs, making it perfect for any photography using large telephoto lenses or shooting in portrait orientation. Separate locks control the 360° panning base and swinging arm, allowing a full range of motion ideal for covering sporting events, catching birds in flight, or any other fast moving subjects.

The "gravity-balanced" gimbal head makes even the bulkiest camera and lens combos seem almost weightless. The Arca-Swiss-compatible quick-release plate (included) is 120 mm long, providing ample support of most telephoto lenses. For extreme telephoto lenses longer base plates can be easily substituted.

Large, lobed knobs are easy to operate even through gloves or in dark conditions, and numbered scales along the panning base and the vertical arm allow you to easily repeat your setup for various lens and camera combinations. The panning base and vertical arm capable of 360 degree rotation (horizontal and vertical).

Excellent Quality and Performance
This is my first Movo product and it doesn't disappoint. I took it out for a two hour seaside session and was overly pleased by the ease, quality, and performance of the gimbal. A few weeks prior I was photographing surfers and some wildlife. I decided to purchase a gimbal after holding a DSLR and 600mm lens following that session. The gimbal easily holds my Canon 90D + Sigma 150-600mm lens. The quick release knobs, made from aluminum, are easy to operate with small rotations for hold release . The horizontal and vertical rotation operation is smooth. During my research I noticed that there isn't much difference in weight between carbon fiber and aluminum gimbals, yet the weight of the Movo gimbal is good. The Arca-Swiss plate did come loose from the tripod collar on one occasion, requiring that I tighten the plate bolt to the collar even more. So, my first experience was great. Hand fatigue gone. Greatly improved stabilization. Allowed me to photograph some long distance subjects with ease.

5.0 out of 5 stars Movo Gimbal
Reviewed in the United States on August 31, 2019
Very pleased with this product, I use it for action wildlife photography, mainly birds. I've had it 6 months, use it weekly often more, getting some great results paired with my Manfrotto tripod - a great sturdy pair! My only complaint would be the way this gimbal works when you turn the camera facing directly down, for example when trying to take macro photos over a table you can't! I had to switch back to my Manfrotto ballhead, but that's the nature of this mount.
