I've been using this laptop for 3 days now, and I love it! I did a lot of research on similar budget gaming laptops, but finally bought this one due to its low-profile design and the hardware you get for its price. I also had a 6 year old lenovo that just retired so that gave me a lot of trust in this brand as well.
I bought this laptop to do mainly 3d rendering, design, illustration, and video editing work. I'm not a gamer, so I can't say much about that. However, I can say that so far, 16 gigs of RAM runs fast with everything I've tried, which is mostly maya, photoshop, and unity. There's no lags at all, and is SO smooth to use compared to my old laptop. BUT, I am aware of its average screen and color accuracy, and am planning to buy an alternate 4k screen. So if you are someone like me who need a more color accurate laptop, just this screen is definitely not enough, or maybe you could consider a msi or asus laptop. The keyboard is wonderful to use, very light but has a light snap to each tap, which I love over dampened keyboards. The touchpad on the other hand isn't great, the buttons are very hard to press sometimes, but doesn't bother me much since I use a mouse. No fan noise so far, it's so quiet that I can't hear anything when the computer starts. The laptop takes around 30s to start, very fast. The audio is great, it's clear and loud. As for battery, I don't plan to use it off cord, but I have heard that this laptop isn't the best with its battery. I'll keep this post updated if anything comes up, so far I am super satisfied with the purchase!

7/2/17 update**
2 months in and I'm just as happy with this purchase! I've downloaded a few more software including substance designer and painter, and Houdini. Everything still runs smoothly so far. I did notice that my eyes get strained with this screen if I use it for too long, which I think may be due to the screen's contrast. Will keep this post updated if anything else comes up!
