- Fits my Bersa Thunder 45 Ultra Compact Pro perfectly and very securely, which is a small-framed pistol.
- Likewise, it's extremely compact, lightweight, and completely out of the way. You won't even know it's there until you need it.
- Piece of cake to mount and sight-in.
- Power button operates with a satisfying, positive click.
- Very bright in normal and (of course) dark room light, more than good enough for home defense purposes.
- Great build, with the body being constructed entirely of aluminum.
- All required allen wrenches are included.
- Battery life seems good, and it even comes with an extra set!
- It's covered by a lifetime warranty.
Following are a few extreme nits that would never have prevented me from buying this product, but in all fairness I wanted to mention them anyway...
Cons:
- Removing the lower Picatinny rail makes it even more compact, but the bottom elevation adjustment screw sticks out a bit if you do, and I'm afraid of moving or losing it. I think a drop of blue, removable Loctite would easily take care of tightening that up. I could just head to the hardware store and find a shorter one, but it's not a big enough deal to even make it worth the trip. Who knows, I might wind up mounting a flashlight there someday anyway, so I just left it on.
- Batteries are a little tricky to get in, but I soon discovered you can easily flip them over to the correct position using the smallest allen wrench which comes with it. I actually like that it uses LR41 batteries, which makes it more compact.
- Logo is upside-down when mounted, wish it were right-side-up so I could advertise the brand name for you!
I haven't had a chance to go to the range and see how it holds zero, but considering the fit and finish, I don't expect any problems there. Since there's a lifetime warranty on this laser, I'm sure if a problem pops up there it will be handled fairly.
I'd definitely buy one for my AR-15, but my scope already has a laser built-in. Heck, I'll probably buy another one anyway, just to have on hand. It's so inexpensive, why not?
This product is 5/5 stars all the way. The only thing I can't figure out is, how Jake can make any money selling these things for this price.
I sincerely thank you for your service to our great country, and a great little laser, sir!
Update 2018-08-14: After using this product for a bit now, I'm so happy with it I just ordered a 2nd one!

I did a quick sight in and adjusted the laser to just above the iron sights at what seemed about 15' or so. It adjusted as expected and seemed to hold the spot just fine. I cycled it on and off a bunch of times, playing around with it at the house, dry firing my snap caps to see just how noisy my hands really are. To my surprise, they aren't as bad as I suspected (at least dry firing). Time to go to the range and see how it does with live fire.
So I put about 100 rounds through the pistol all using the laser sight with the iron sights. After the first 6 rounds I checked it to see if it was getting loose, which is was not, and proceed to make a slight adjustment to the laser. I emptied the mag, 12 rounds total and checked it once again. It was holding true and not getting loose at all. Additionally, I did not "bump" the on/off button during firing at all, not even close, so I had no issue with it turning on and off during repetitive firing. Great! Let's run some more through it!
On a splatterburst target with 5 bullseyes I ran a handful of mags through it and made a few minor adjustments to dial in the sight alignment, every time I adjusted it and ran a mag or two it held it's position just fine. By the end of my range session I had the red dot just a bit above the iron sights at 5 yds., at 7 yds the poi was about 1.5" below the red dot, at anything closer the red dot is slightly hidden by the pistol, but a slight visual adjustment from the iron sights brings it right into view. Easy enough to either use the iron sights or click on the laser and use it.
I found my sight reaquisition was much quicker and my groupings were much tighter. I also found that my hands do in fact get much noisier with repetitive firing, as evidenced by the occasional flyer and the laser moving around more. The immediate feedback on my hands is an excellent training tool for me to work on a stronger and quieter grip throughout the trigger pull.
In summary, it is exactly what I wanted it to be when I purchased it. It displayed no issues or disappointments on anything at all. If I can now figure out a good carry option for my pistol with the laser on it I will be a happy guy.
Top reviews from other countries
First, it fits my firearm perfectly - it matches up with my firearms accessory rail nicely and the attachment is snug.
The red laser is bright and easy to see.
But those two items are where the positive factors of this laser sight end.
When it first arrived, I was very pleased to see that it came with six batteries. The sight takes 3 of them, so I put the batteries in and turned it on. It lit up, and I mounted it to my firearm.
Later, down at the range, I began adjusting the laser to get it sighted in. After a lot of adjusting and playing around with the hex nuts, the laser went out. I had not fired a shot at this point. I removed the sight from the gun, checked the fit of the batteries, and turned it on. It lit up, so I put it back on my firearm and tried to sight in again.
The laser went out again.
As I had only brought three batteries with me, I stopped at a battery store and picked up three brand new, fresh batteries, thinking that, perhaps, the batteries that came with the sight were old and, perhaps, a little weaker than they would otherwise be.
I deliberately left the sight alone and unpowered until my next opportunity to visit the range. On that second visit, with the brand new, fresh batteries, I was able to start adjusting the laser sight and begin sighting it in.
It lasted about an hour before it went out, clearly draining the batteries.
This seems like a major design flaw in this sight - because it provides a nice, bright dot to aim with, but it doesn’t last very long. I have no intention of buying loads of batteries just to make sure that my laser is sighted in properly.
I will surely find a use for it, but as a gun sight, this laser just does not do the job.
Update: The Canadian distributor gave me a full credit, but they aren't able to send me another set screw and neither is the US manufacturer. Something about cross border shipping of parts restrictions. So now I have a free laser that can't be adjusted in one direction. Will have to take the one remaining micro sized set screw out shopping to see if I can find a mate for it.
VERRY CHEAP !!!!!!!!
