2. We recommend the following Revell Acrylic Paint Aqua Color: | 5 9 36 65 68 83 86 91 302 382 | A model only gets its true-to-the-original appearance after receiving an optimal paint job. Large surfaces, in particular, can only be painted with a brush with great difficulty. | Revell Contacta Professional' is for pin-point accurate bonding. The extra-fine hollow needle allows for micro-fine glueing of tiny details and clear part edges. | Basic tools for successfully assembling the model!! | Basic accessories for successfully painting the model!! |
3. Additional colors for painting down to the smallest detail: | 31 62 79 89 95 99 | For these applications, the 32 most frequently used Revell colours are available in 100ml spray cans. | Content: Glue 25g | Contents: Sprue cutter, File, Tweezers, Hobby knife | Contents: 3 quality paintbrushes (0/3/5) Brush cleaner (14 ml) 2 pipettes |

The box it came in delivered was obliterated. Once again, I was lucky none of the plastic pieces in the box were damaged.
Other than that, it was fun to assemble. If you like putting models together. I have ever since I was young lad. Me father was in the Royal Navy you see. I grew up putting WW II plastic models of numerous types together. It's a creative way to pass the time.
Ye lads and lassies tell me what ye thinkest.

I went for Lt. JFK's version and used Tamiya's TS-33 and XF-81 on the hull, as well as a light rust wash by Mig, which all worked out pretty well. But all of that is thanks to other brands than Revell...
There are two parts in the kit that seem to screw up other parts of the construction; if I place parts B26 and B27 (step 24) as I think they indicated, then you'll probably run into problems in step 27 through 32. I ended up cutting off a part of B26 and leaving B27 out. Also, there are a few steps around this part of the instructions that would have been easier to follow if they had added a picture from a different angle, like Tamiya often does. I suppose that's too much to ask.
All of that is not such a huge problem though. However, I believe that the ropes (added in the final step) really finish the kit. But... how on earth am I supposed to run them through the hull as indicated in the final step? If you look at Revell's own pictures, they seem to have drilled some holes, but I have no idea how to run it through one end, and then have it come out on the other end. Maybe you can just cut up the rope and superglue the ends to the hull, but that seems quite risky in terms of glue residue. So I ended up not applying the ropes. Too bad. I think Revell should have put some more effort into the instructions.
