Ideal for Infants not Toddlers
Love the colors! And fabric was easy to clean. The double tray (one removable) was ideal too! Securely attaches to chair. Safe. Definitely easy to clean!I think this is meant for an infant as opposed to a toddler, so it was my mistake in thinking I could use this for years with my grandson. I bought it for use at my home with him when he was 14 months old. I think it would be perfect for a 3 month old through maybe 11 months though. Why?It remains in a slightly tilted backwards position. Yes you can adjust the back cradle but it never quite got to a near 90 degree vertical position that toddlers prefer.The side tray clasps are easy to work when placing a child in and taking them out and they lock securely but they really pushed agaunst his belly even in the most distant position. Not comfortable. Maybe the sides of the main seated piece could be a bit longer to accomodate toddler-belly. And he is actually smaller than most toddlers his age so it's not that his fluff-n-stuff is extra fluffy.I was hoping I could set this at the table without the trays one day. Nope. There is no table in this house that it slides under. Bit too bulky.Anyhow, I gave it away to the local Care Center. Someone will need it.
