I really do love these! (UPDATED)

I really do love these! (UPDATED)
I purchased these in September of 2017. They arrived within two days. Brand new packaging. Charged them and they synced and worked instantly. In March of 2018, I started having some issues. Nothing major. Sometimes the sound would go out in one or there was static or sometimes you would hear a pop sound. They usually adjusted themselves by the next day or with a rest and a charge. By June, one side went out for good. They were still within my 18-month warranty. Anker customer service were awesome!! They heard me out and sent me a replacement almost immediately! I'm very happy! Thank you Anker!!So, i'm not an auidophile by any means. I can't tell you that these are the best in the world because I wouldn't know. But, they are worth the price, and they get the job done. Bass? Don't really need a whole lot of it. Besides, I don't need IMAX theater sound in my ears when i'm listening to audiobooks or Pantera! Well, maybe Pantera, but their loud enough without busting my eardrums! They're also perfect for blocking out the world. They are not 100% noice cancellation, but they work well for ignoring others!I love that these don't fall out of my ears. They're comfortable to wear. They are sweat resistant. You can run and workout with these. They usually fully charge within the hour or less for me. The battery does last. I've tested these on more than one occassion working a 12-hour shift off of one charge. When i'm talking on the phone, no one has ever told me they couldn't hear me, nor have I ever had any problem hearing anyone on the other end. Everything sounds clear.Another thing I like about these, is that I don't have any problems with bluetooth reception. I can have my phone in my back pocket or in my front sweater pockets and I still get full reception. They are great in open spaces. I've left my phone at my station in the back of the warehouse, walked to the front, and still had full reception. As far as connecting to more than one device, that's not really an issue for me. If i'm at home, i'm synced to my laptop and when i'm out, i'm synced to my phone. I don't need to be hooked up to several devices all at once. So, if you want something state of the art::: concert or movie theater sound quality, 100% noice cancellation, can sync up to multiple devices all at once, that you can swim in, or earbuds that can cook, clean, and drive you around in! Then get ready to pay that HUGE price tag because these are NOT for you! If you're looking for something that affordable and meets your fundamental needs, while you're saving up or looking for something else in the meanwhile, then these are worth a shot. If they break for whatever reason, it's not going to break your bank. Seriously, you can't go wrong with their 18-month warranty. Anker customer service is awesome!UPDATE:In March 2019, one side of my earbuds went out completely. I contacted Anker Customer Service and was sent a replacement pair (green ones this time). I received them within a few days. Thank you Anker!! I charged them and they synced with no problem. I really do love these! These were definitely worth the original purchase. If this pair ever goes out for whatever reason, I will definitely re-purchase.

Reviewed in the United States on September 30, 2017
So I decided recently that I need to get back into a gym routine, get more active, etc. after taking a 2-3 year "break." Naturally, I can't do that without some fresh headphones for the gym. I started searching around, seeing what is out there now since my previous headphones are 3+ years old at this point. They were decent bt headphones, but had that weird LG neck band thing with the wired buds that popped out. Worked fine, just wanted to find something less bulky with good comfort and battery life.

After some researching, I settled on the $200 Powerbeats3 from Apple/Beats. 5 minute quick charge for 1hr play time (perfect for when you realize your phones are dead while on your way to the gym), 12 hour battery life, water/sweat resistant, and an ear clip style for working out. Perfect. Found them at my local best buy marked down to $135 for certain colors, so I bought them. Took them home, charged and tested them out. Not bad. Decently comfortable, easy to use and charge, sound quality was perfect for my needs.

Then, out of curiosity, I decided to search on amazon just to see what else was out there. I came across these Anker Soundbuds Curve by noticing they looked almost exactly like my Powerbeats3. After reading a ton of reviews, decided to order them. At $35, worst I could do was return them and keep the Powerbeats. Well...needless to say I ended up returning the Powerbeats and keeping these Ankers. Why? Well...I like most things about these Ankers better.

    PROS:
-They aren't as wide or bulky, have a much more flush feel with the side of my head.
    -Much softer touch material
-Ear clips especially are softer and more comfortable
-Feel lighter, hardly notice they're even on
-12.5 hour battery life (on par with the Powerbeats 12 hour life)
-Better travel case. It's a round zippered case vs a silicone squeeze-style clamshell case for the Beats
-More ear bud sizing options. S/M/L buds, S/M/L ear wings, and memory foam bud options are included.
-Great sound. Bass is deep and clear. I'd say they sound 90% as good as the beats, for MUCH cheaper
-Last but not least, PRICE PRICE PRICE. I'll take 90% Beats sound quality and features for almost 1/7 the price ANY day.

    CONS (but no deal breakers)
-Rubber cap over charging port isn't as quick or convenient to charge, but it keeps dirt/water out
-No 5 minute quick charge (I think it'll still give you an hour's worth with only a 10 minute charge or so)

In the end, keeping the Ankers was a no-brainer. Sure they don't have Apple's fancy W1 chip for quick charging and connection wizardry for iPhones (which I don't own anyway), but they feel, function, and sound just as nice as the Powerbeats at a fraction of the cost. Even if you wore out a pair of these buds a year, you could replace them annually for 6 years before spending as much as the Powerbeats3 at retail price. The Powerbeats were nice for the few days I had them. I didn't have any issues, but they weren't $165 nicer or better quality than the Ankers. The Ankers are much more comfortable on my ears, feel lighter and softer, don't look as bulky, and come with a better travel case. And, for $35, it's not life-shattering if they get lost or broken at the gym.

Reviewed in the United States on December 18, 2017
My wife's Powerbeats 2 gave out after less than a year. They just stopped taking a charge no matter what we tried. She loved the form factor and wanted a replacement. Because of our poor experience with with the Powerbeats I was looking for an alternative. I stumbled across these and was intrigued by the ratings, features and especially the price point. All of our non-OE electronics chargers are Anker. I have become a huge fan of their products and exclusively shop Anker when I need a charger, cables, power bank, etc. My experience with them has been amazing. Quality products with great customer service so trying these SoundBuds Curve seemed like a no brainer. I bought a set for my wife and myself.

I can honestly say these are on par with the Powerbeats, if not better, at a fraction of the price. First of all, the packaging, like all Anker products, is well thought out, minimal and stylish. The earbuds come with every accessory you would need. There are multiple silicone and foam tips to customize the fit. There is also a nice case to stow everything when not in use. Pairing these to my phone was instant and easy. This hasn't always been the case with other BlueTooth devices I have used. Sound quality is great. The controls are easily located and accesible. And the sound quality is great. They're not going to blow any audiophile away, but with the correct tips they are more than adequate for the gym or listening at work. Call quality is also very good. In fact, I forgot that they have a mic and was wearing these at work. Answering the call was easy, I could clearly hear the caller and they could hear me easily.

Really I bought these for the gym. My wife cannot workout without music. I typically don't as I find it just distracts my focus. However, I wanted something for the monotony of cardio. My biggest concerns were whether or not they could survive my sweat in a workout, whether they would stay in my ear during more dynamic movements and whether they would hurt. At home or while traveling I use over the ear headphones because earbuds tend to hurt my left ear after an hour or so no matter the size or material of the tip I used. Last week I had these on for 6 hours straight with no issues. Also, whether I am rowing, jogging or climbing stairs the earbuds stay in place. I've gotten so used to these I have even started wearing them during my strength training. It's only been 3 weeks, but so far they have survived the sweat from my workouts and I sweat profusely.

My wife also loves hers and has made the same comment that she likes them better than her Powerbeats, particularly the battery life which is excellent. Her one complaint about these which I share is that the controls feel a bit heavy at times and sometimes gets caught on a collar or in hair. It's best to clip it to your shirt if somehow. But occasionally you'll see me whip my head from side to side to try and get the control board unstuck. It's a minor inconvenience but worth noting here.

I'd highly recommend these to anyone. They're worth far more than the <$20 I paid for them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent pair of wireless earphones for the price
Reviewed in Canada on November 12, 2018
These are not about the sound quality, not for audiophiles.
These are an excellent pair of budget wireless earphones.
Turns out they also have exceptional support.
    --------------------------------------

The sound quality is good but won't blow your mind.
Battery life is pretty good too. 10+ hrs for me.
I charge about every 4-5 days with over an hour of use every day.

These earphones are pretty strong on the feature set and well designed.
    Has 3 buttons.
With just the centre button, I can play/pause, switch on/off, activate google assistant and take/cancel calls.
Volume buttons double up as FF or rewind.

Bluetooth connection was seamless and reliably connects to my phone every time I switch these on.
I also love the auditory feedback sounds for power on/off and Bluetooth connect/disconnect.
One minor issue I felt was that the 3 buttons feel almost similar and the only way to distinguish is by their position.
Always makes me to fumble around and double check.

The fit is good for the gym. These stick to the ear even when I move around.
My phone drops the connection when it moves, not these bad boys.
I can keep my phone somewhere in the centre of the gym room and am free to move around.

Overall, these are amazing wireless earphones if you are on the budget.
Anker is an up-and-coming Chinese electronics firm and makes quality budget items.
I have purchased other items from them in the past and have been very satisfied.

Update - One of the earphones stopped working about 10 months in.
Looked up their warranty and process - Turns out they have exceptional support for a startup.
Asked me for a few basic details and just shipped a new set of headphones - with all accessories!
Within 3 days, I had new (upgraded) earphones and I am back listening to my books wherever I go.
I seriously cannot recommend them enough!

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Battery life, Value for money.

I used AirPods for the last 16 months but they kept loosing charge very often. The Anker headsets are of Good build quality and value for money. The batter life for me is easily 1.5 to 2 days mostly for calls and 3-4 hours of music. The sound quality is decent but don’t expect great bass. The mic does a decent job and being heard on calls is not a problem. However compared to the notice cancellation of AirPods the background noise during calls is heard clearly by the caller on the other end. Overall, I am satisfied.

5.0 out of 5 stars basse et confort

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfecta combinación de sonido/ergonomía/autonomía/precio
