For a small ampilifer it definitely worked better than I could have even hoped for. this was a great buy and when or if it ever dies I know i will have to buy another one because it is a must have! I bought this to use for voice amplification, not singing. It seems to be plenty loud, but there is a bit of distortion at the high end of the volume. I would not use this for singing in public due to the distortion factor, but for kids goofing around with karaoke singing at home, it's fine.

I chose this one over the more expensive amps because it's LIGHTWEIGHT. I will wear this around my neck, across my body, or maybe clipped in a pants pocket. It's much better to wear 4 oz. around you neck than almost 1 lb.

These little amps are great when you work outdoors and have to talk to crowds. They really save your vocal chords.

I really liked the instant usability of the product. I didn't have to wait to charge it. I like the fact that it can also work as a speaker for the computer as well as the microphone, although I have yet to try that feature out. I also like that I can charge it using my computer and do not have to carry around another charger cord. All in all, I have already recommended it to several other people as a gift to purchase for themselves. I was suffering from a really bad case of laryngitis for 2 1/2 weeks, it really saved me. I am a teacher and not being able to talk to my students to make it through the day, does not work well for teaching.
The thing I liked the least is really 2 things, 1) how long it took to actually arrive it was an extra 3 days before I got it to use, and 2) the adjustable strap is not nearly long enough to fit around an adult waist.
