Compression socks are a special case & can break
New news: my 2nd order broke at baseI was prescribed compression socks by my doctor. I have now ordered my second one of these sock sliders. And I can tell you that there is two different experiences to be had, one with dress socks which are easy to put on the sock slider. The GoodCompression socks work with the base and the main plastic cuff which are sturdy. The price is worth every penny for just being able to use the base .The BadThe other parts of this set are useless with compression socks because they are flimacy. I have now bought my second set because after 2 years or 3 years the plastic just gave up on the base. But I wouldn't have been able to put my comparison socks on without it
