About this item
- ROOTS GROW RIGHT THROUGH: Whether you’re planting tropical plants or vegetables, these organic pots are right for you. You can start plants year-round, and plant them directly into the soil in summer.
- GREAT FOR VEGGIES: With a 2-inch diameter per cell, these trays are perfectly sized for starting flowers, herbs, and vegetable saplings like tomatoes and cucumbers, or even tropical plants.
- PREVENT TRANSPLANT SHOCK: By becoming one with the root ball and promoting aeration, these biodegradable seed starter pots are great for transplanting without causing transplant shock or harm.
- ONLY ONE INGREDIENT: Made with only one ingredient - natural spruce fibres. Our all- natural formula contains no peat moss from harmful peat harvesting practises and no PFAS.
- REDUCE PLASTIC USE: In our seed starter pots, we use nothing but natural and biodegradable materials. Our pots are made from 100% forestry byproduct—no adhesives needed!

But the material is good and it won’t just crumble after they get wet. They aren’t just recycled cardboard full of plastic contamination that turns to a slimy mush. This is not a “make it as cheap as you can” product.
The square flat bottoms are nice since they lay flat, stand steady and the individual cells can hold a bit more fill than pointy cone shaped cells.
I’ve used them a few times and the quality remains the same. Despite the price I wouldn’t use anything else.
