The best seed starter trays.
5 Stars
The best seed starter trays.
These things are great. They’re made in Canada and clearly the manufacturer cares. They’re definitely more expensive than other, but I appreciate the quality. They use recycled spruce which lends sturdiness to the tray and cells that cardboard doesn’t. It also has a subtle pleasent scent. I only mention this because I have no idea why other reviews have said otherwise. Guess they don’t like the spruce. But the material is good and it won’t just crumble after they get wet. They aren’t just recycled cardboard full of plastic contamination that turns to a slimy mush. This is not a “make it as cheap as you can” product. The square flat bottoms are nice since they lay flat, stand steady and the individual cells can hold a bit more fill than pointy cone shaped cells.I’ve used them a few times and the quality remains the same. Despite the price I wouldn’t use anything else.
