There is one caution I have for potential buyers and that is: When installing the door position sensor on top of the door mind the distance from the top of the sensor bracket to the door track (for overhead doors) If I had installed mine where their photo suggests it would have destroyed the sensor the first time I opened the door. I recommend installing far enough to left or right of the track to assure sufficient clearance.
Beyond that the installation was a breeze.
Using the provided clip (nice touch) I clipped mine to the top of the garage door opener and because it is so small it really looks nice.
TUYA's Smart Life iPhone is used for this device and since I have used it for other devices before it was easy to setup the opener. It is nice to only need one app for so many devices. This is really a great app. I am not certain what they mean: to look for "Electrical", because in the Smart Life app there is an entry for Garage Door Opener which worked perfectly.
Once you power the device on you have to wait for the green light to go off before pressing the reset. It took longer for this to happen than they say. Once you press the reset the door should open or close. If is does it is time to pair it with your phone by adding the Garage Door Opener in the Smart life App and follow the instructions, which are very clear and easy.
Now you can enjoy the convenience of controlling your garage door from anywhere.

This is really sort of a pre-review for I haven't received mine yet, it comes on July 20, 2020. I wanted to clear up some of the confusion I have seen about this device in other reviews and questions:
1. The controller unit itself is 2.4g Wi-Fi, while the door sensor is 433mhz RF wireless communication. It works the same way as a remote control. Because of this there is no need to have a wire from the control unit and the sensor. I got this information from the manufacturer.
2. The sensor requires a CR2032 3v button battery which should last about a year under normal use.
I like the fact that installation of the door position sensor is much simpler because I don't need to route a wire.
One other item I want to clear up is the question of whether the app accurately reports door open or closed. As soon as I know for certain I will report it here.
I do wish, however, that the manufacturer had included a User/Installation guide downlead as some others have done. I have included a copy of the sensor installation PDF for reference. I also received this from DATONTEN.
Once I receive mine I will come back here to report my results, although I expect them to be positive. My son has one of these and he recommended it to me.

Customer service was awesome. Dina was quick with her responses, courteous, and helpfull to the extent she could be.
It has to be hard doing customer service in a second language (assumption on my part here) over email. The company was very responsive and settled my customer service case satisfactorily.
The Good:
Installation was a snap.
Setup wasn't bad at all (the App did jumble some of prompt and entry text together (password prompt and your entry for example).
Bluetooth range was fantastic!
It opened and closed my garage door every time
The not so good:
While install and operation of the app on my phone (Essential Phone 1) was simple we could not get the app to connect to the remote on my girlfriends phone. It did it once and then never again. The phone found the remote on Bluetooth (you cannot connect through your android's native Bluetooth environment, you must use the RQDoor app) but the app would never connect. I have no idea if this was a phone issue (Galaxy S9+) or something else, hence the three stars for the remote and overall.
The Bad:
I have no idea why the app would need access to my phone's location. The camera I get because of the flashlight portion of the app (unnecessary since I have the flashlight option in the OS). The whole thing makes me wary of data collection.
The product did not work for me; but with the phone that did connect it worked flawlessly.
I hope this helps you make a decision.

BUT...
There are a few serious flaws.
Although the display knows if the door is opened or closed it does not know the difference between the two commands.
If the door is already closed and you have a timer set for 11pm to make sure you don't go to bed with the garage door opened it will send the "close" signal and open the garage,
If your garage door is closed and you say "OK Google, open the garage door" it will ask you for a pass code to open it. All good. But if your garage is already closed and you say "ok Google clos the garage door" it will open it.
Yesterday I set a timer for 11pm to make sure the garage was closed. I woke up this morning to my garage door wide open and a $700 sliding compound miter saw missing.
Thanks!
