I got this for my son's 6th birthday. During his 5th year of living I had purchased him the Minecraft tablet edition and then saw that minecraft for the switch was on sale so I got that for him. He struggles a bit as he can't read yet and isnt sure exactly what all of the items are.
I figured I would get him Lego Worlds as like most kids his age he loves legos. This game has a similar concept to minecraft but its geared towards kids his age. The pop up's are basic and show you what button to hit so he isn't running to me asking what to do. A sample "mission" is Collect 5 pigs and 5 sheep. It shows a number 5 and a picture of a pig and a sheep and he goes oah daddy I need 5 pigs and 5 sheep. Simple, perfect.
This is the first game that he can power up and play without any assistance. Even Mario Kart requries some adult input from time to time but I haven't had to help him with this at all.
