I have a small apartment so ottoman provides the necessary storage that I need. It actually provides 3 purposes for me. I have it in my living room next to my computer so it can aside from storing a few blankets, I can use it as a chair, when I have guest over to go over some stuff on the computer. Next I can flip the lid and use it as a table and slide the ottoman to my living room couch. The color matches perfectly with my leather couch, although I'm sure this is faux leather and not genuine leather, but it looks good enough.

This is the easiest furniture I have ever bought - no DIY needed as it comes assembled and it matches our sofa color perfectly. It was a nice surprise that this was actually off-white (linen) color than white which was a compromise I resigned myself to after searching for hours for the right size and most functional coffee table / storage / ottoman / extra seating. The tray fits right into the opening so no fear of accidentally sweeping it off the ottoman. Can't be happier with this purchase!

A few reviewers who got the white ottomans seem dissatisfied with the overly bright color; however, I got two of the blue ones and both do not have that problem at all. Both have deep blue color true to the product picture, and do not stand out awkwardly among furniture as the white ones might.

I have compared this storage ottoman to many others from Target and Crate&Barrel, and came to the conclusion that this is not only the best bang for the buck, but it is my favorite regardless of price.
The leather has nice texture with just the right amount of smoothness and shine; the storage space is as ample as you would expect from the size of the product; the handles are convenient for flipping the lid over and for quickly pulling the ottoman closer to your couch.

Quick comparisons with few other leather ottomans:
- The ones sold in Crate&Barrel that cost twice as much as these certainly look good. Their ottomans are much heavier and use thicker, stronger leather with less shine, which can look more luxurious indeed. However, they lack handles and since the lids are very heavy and tight against the ottoman, they are extremely inconvenient if you want to access the things stored inside or want to flip over the lid to use as a coffee table on a daily basis.
-Threshold ones sold in Target have similar weight and look of leather as these Convenient Concepts ottomans at first glance. However, the colors are less deep and the leather feels terribly sticky.

Thus I found these Convenient Concepts ottoman to be the most convenient storage ottomans for daily use in the living room and do not hesitate to recommend this.

[EDIT: I do not know if any of these ottomans use real leather or if they're just leather-like material; I don't really care so I just say leather for convenience. Clarifying in case it's misleading!]

This is such a pretty navy blue FABRIC ottoman! I ordered the fabric and so happy that I did. It is so nice looking & functional as well! To my eyes, it tends to a white tone more than an ivory, although not a bright, glaring white. (So hard to judge color when ordering online.) The size is great for my small living room, and I can fit a folded blanket and two throws inside. (Depending on the nature of the blanket or throw, possibly one more or one less.) The reverse side of the top cushion has a commodious and an undivided tray. Some of the black finish rubbed off in two or places along the rim, but that's easily remedied.

I had a square one that I bought for about $50 a few years back. My cat scratched the surface to pieces. Time for a new one. However, I was shocked at the current prices for the same type of ottoman, be in on Amazon or elsewhere. I live in an apartment and this checked all the boxes, sturdy, storage and cover that is a table in reverse. I was a little hesitant because this one is wider, a rectangle and I was afraid it would be too big. Honestly, it is just a little bigger and I've come to enjoy a slightly larger storage area and table to eat on. Really does not take up that much more room at all. Also I got white. I was nervous it would be bright white. I really wanted beige. This is an off-white color and blends nicely with everything. There are a couple of slight creases on the top but hardly noticable. For the price, absolutely cannot go wrong. Also, it is light weight and I am 67 yrs. old. I can easily move it around and lift it off the rug to vacuum.

I struggled with wether to get one the instant pop up ottomans but had a bad experience with two larger 30" long ones I purchased from another manufacturer. Both of those bench/ottomon the top cover part that you sit on broke which I doubt was mere a coincidence considering not just one but both broke the same way. They just seemed poorly designed so I wanted to avoid.

For that reason I settled on this one that came fully assembled and ready to go. I love it so far and I haven't seen any defects. It also came very well packaged and protected. I also find it very comfortable to sit on and the storage space is excellent.

I am using it as a vanity seat for a rolling mini beauty train storage unit with table that stores most of my makeup, hair accessories and such. The items that can't fit in my vanity all fits inside the storage space in this ottoman and I am thrilled.
The only thing I would say I'm not thrilled about is the vynil covering. It just feels like if it gets any tiny bit of rough usage or slightly rubs against any rigid surface it might scuff or tear. I also which it had a bit of a more matte finish. It's a tad bit too shiny for my liking and cheapens the look of the ottoman. All in all I am satisfied and just keeping my fingers crossed that it will hold up.

We live in a RV and needed something that had storage but also a table top. This was perfect. Fits perfectly in a small space (it is small, measure!) and the tray top is perfect so our cats can't knock anything off the table part. Seems very sturdy too.

I'm very happy with this product. It is multifunctional and is a great size for my small apartment. It's for a quick cleanup to hide my accumulated clutter of paper and things. It can be used as a footstool or extra seat (though I'd be wary of putting too much weight on it for fear the stitching on the top might pull away) and it can be used as a tray/coffee table. It seems to be good an solid and arrived in great condition except for some discolouration/marking on the inside of one handle. For me that's a minor cosmetic detail but some people might really mind it. I was a little worried when I saw the box because it had a decent size puncture/gash in it but the ottoman itself was unharmed. I ordered the Ivory one because I thought it would be the most versatile and fit into most decor if I ever change things up and also because it was the cheapest option of all the colours. Now, I just need to train myself to put my "clutter" inside of it instead of piling it all on top! Lol.

Bought this for my mom who moved into a retirement residence. Minimal space available so we had to be practical; this item works as an ottoman, a storage box and a coffee table. Handles make it easy to lift off the top and turn it over for the coffee table option. Measurements were missing from the advertisement and should really be included. It's bigger than a single and smaller than a double-- very practical! The dark brown colour is rich and the ottoman looks like leather. Quality appears to be very good.
