Original: I just received my dash cam today, I will update within a week more thoroughly. Initial thoughts on the unit is that the front camera is amazing, the rear isn't the best, but I purchased it knowing this. I drive a Pontiac vibe and the cable needs about another foot to fully tuck away the cables but it's not a huge issue, I don't open my hatch much, if at all, a larger car would need to splice some cable. My original purchase showed a rear cam that could be angled, this one was on a set metal bracket and it seems they've updated the description to reflect this now. The metal bent enough for my use because I don't intend to mount it outside the vehicle, I didn't purchase this for the rear camera or the backup guide. A side note is that the camera video feed can not be inverted if you intend to mount it differently, which I had originally, a few tweaks to the plan but I figured out something that works for me. The mirror is a good clear mirror and the touch screen was very responsive, the 7" display is much larger than most others on the market. This camera does not feature a g sensor, which I feel it should, but the lock option for a video is as simple as a touch of a button. I did not need to format the memory card, just clicked it right into the unit straight from the package. The sound quality on playback was good, no feedback and my music didn't distort. The menu is pretty straight forward, I didn't read the instructions and I figured out what was needed quickly. The customer support was what the final decision on my choice with this camera, they seemed very responsive to other customers issues and that is important to me. After my purchase I emailed them to see if I could purchase a separate USB cable instead of one attached to a cigarette plug so I could simultaneously charge my phone, they responded very quickly that they do not in fact carry one, but linked me to a product on Amazon that would work. All in all I'm glad I chose this camera, as I said before, I'll update later with pictures, sample video, and some final thoughts.

The front camera is quite nice. The video is clear, as is the audio capture. Others have posted their results on the front cam, but I haven't see much for the rear camera, and Amazon will only let us upload one video so....
The rear camera doesn't fair as well. I mounted the little cam inside my xB, underneath the third brake light - Drilled and screwed into the housing. I've yet to wire it to the backup light, as I'm not sure I really need that function. Now not only is it a stretched 4:3 image on the viewer, but it also seems to stutter at different points throughout - Additionally the frame rate must be around 10fps or so. The rear is nowhere near the quality of the front. Note that the image is reversed to reflect what you see in your rear view mirror. I don't recommend it to be used for regular driving, but it does help with backing up and parallel parking.
That said: For the price, I still think this is a fair purchase. Love this rear view mirror cam setup. I would just hope in the future that we have an option for an upgraded camera.
Car: 06 Scion xB. I've had it for about two weeks now, and for the price, I dig it! To the point - I docked 1 star for two reasons. 1) It has on 3 occasions not turned on when I started the car - That's 3 times out of say 40-50 start-ups. 2) The rear camera resolution is pretty poor, but that's probably why this set is so cheap. -- One other slight criticism is that the screen/mirror is so wide that it prevents my sun visors from folding all the way down. Not too big of a deal, and I plan on a work-around of getting a dark visor area tint on the windshield.
The install of the front camera was cake. Running the power cords was pretty easy, and I'm more a beginner at this type of installation. I did end up buying a cigarette lighter/accessory splitter for both the camera power adapter and my Moto Turbo charger. This setup will be temporary as I also have picked up the hard wire kit to tap from the fuse box... when weather permits.
I imagine that installing the rear camera on a sedan or coupe would be fairly simple. Being that my xB is a hatchback makes the rear camera install a bit on the difficult side. In fact, I've yet to install it completely... again, because of the weather. So for now instead of mounting the rear cam near the bottom rear of the car, I opted to mount it inside on the headliner pointing at a downward angle. Properly installing it at the license plate area is possible on my xB - The hard part will be figuring out a way to run the wire through the protective tubing. I may have to cut the wires, re-attach with butt connectors, and will likely need to extend the power cable to reach a tail light. For now, the rear camera operates and records fine, but I just lose the automatic back-up feature. I'll do the proper install when the weather is more fair.
The GUI is simple, very easy to use; Although I'd like to have seen separate folders for the front and rear cameras. I also wonder if there's a way to eliminate the blazing white boot screen with the Pruveeo logo, it's just too bright at night. And I also wonder if we can change the power on/off jingles... because why not?
Overall, I do think this is a very good buy and worthy of the asking price.
