It showed up uneventfully on Wednesday. It installed hassle-free and worked perfectly. The way it is packaged from the manufacturer ensures that it shows up completely in tact and damage-free. Further, it required almost no assembly. If you do this yourself, here are a couple of tips. 1. When you remove your old cooktop, hang onto all of the fittings and adapters from the old one (you may need them). 2. Get some gas pipe rated teflon tape for all pipe fittings. 3. The cooktop includes a pressure regulator that you will need to install, simply by threading onto the gas feed pipe. 4. Be sure to use a proper dose of teflon tape on all fittings! 5. Make sure all gas knobs are "Off" before you plug the electric cord in and turn on the gas.
The only tools you'll need are a couple of adjustable wrenches for all of the pipe fittings, phillips and flat head screwdrivers, and (optional) a cordless bit driver.
