I bought these socks specifically for a Sunday night football game. The temperatures dropped into the low 30s as the game went on. The socks were a lifesaver! My hub and I both turned them on low as the game started. By the end, we had cranked them up to high. Our feet never got hot, but more importantly, they never got cold. While our faces and fingers turned into ice cubes, our feet stayed pleasantly comfortable. We both decided to wear these over another pair of socks, mostly because the feeling of the wires running under our toes was weird (though not uncomfortable) They worked great.
The remotes worked without issue and were really handy so we didn’t have to dig around for the battery packs after we put the socks on.
We agreed that the small fortune we payed for these socks was worth it.

These socks are okay. I believe they worked the one time I used them for snowboarding, but it wasn't cold enough outside to tell. One of the socks turned off; I'm not sure if this happened by the settings switch accidentally being hit or if one just had the battery drained quicker than the other? It also could have been human error and I didn't turn one up as high as the other. At the end of the day, one still had juice and the other did not. Turning the socks on using the remote is a guess if they are actually on and on what setting. Under my boots and pants and with the battery tucked into the sock, you can't see the on / off indicator and they do not warm up immediately so the settings and knowing if they are on is tricky. I need to test them on a colder day. The battery is also tucked into a small pocket in the sock near the top so it was above the boot which was good. Overall a great idea to keep your feet warm.

These socks are a life saver for a family member that has health problems dealing with the cold weather. They do a great job keeping the entire front of your foot warm. Many other models just warm the bottom of your foot, but this actually has heating elements around the toes. We use these when skiing and anytime we are outside. I noticed some complaints about the socks being very tight, but just order a little larger than you need and they will be perfect. The power charger takes a few hours but they last a long time even in the high heating mode.

I hope they will send a replacement sock. Would have preferred contacting shipper directly but that was not an option.

Better to get a good pair of wool socks...
