I am a natural leftie but grew up playing videos games right handed. After playing some games with lots of clicking, my right index finger started to swell so I looked into alternatives. It didn't even dawn on me that there are now computer mice and keypads for lefties. So I tried this one. It is really comfortable. Not great for gaming and it took me awhile to get used to the switch the left and right mouse button scheme, where the typical mouse, the left button clicks and the right side brings up a context sensitive menu, but that is reversed for this mouse. It wasn't a big change, but there might be a little frustration at the beginning.

I have no problem recommending it. It feels good and works well

I study a design field and use this mouse all day, every day, probably hundreds of clicks a day... and this mouse is the only one I'll use. I've been using this mouse for 2 years. The mouse is a great size for my medium sized hands, and the grippy texture makes it easy to maneuver. The scroll wheel is excellent. I love the quick DPI toggle. No strain on my hands or wrist. This mouse has stood up to being tossed in the bottom of my backpack, and dropped on the floor. Basically, without this mouse working in Adobe programs is a chore for me.

I've tried the way more expensive Logitech left handed vertical mouse, and it pales in comparison to this Perixx in comfort, ease of use, control and durability.

Perixx, take this mouse to the next level! I'd love to see Bluetooth connectivity without a USB connector, similar to the Logitech mouse. It would also be great to have the front/back window buttons work on a Mac. The click has a satisfying feel, but the sound is pretty loud. If you could make a similar feeling mouse with a quieter click (not necessarily silent), that would be excellent.

They have excellent customer service and sent me an entirely new mouse when my USB connector broke and I was having issues reconnecting with the new USB connector they'd already sent me. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed and hope you continue to innovate your already great products.

I had surgery on my right shoulder and needed a left-hand mouse for awhile. When I saw this mouse at its price, I decided to take the opportunity to try out an ergonomic mouse as well. I found a mixed bag.

Most of the positives have to do with the quality of the mouse for the price. It seems to be decently constructed of good materials and, despite taking a number of tumbles to the floor (more on that later), has held up very well. I have been buying expensive mice for years and I've got to say that this one has really surprised me in a positive way. If you're looking for an ergonomic mouse for a decent price, this is one you should seriously consider.

There are some negatives, and these mostly have to do with the facts of life with an ergonomic mouse. The concept is good, but it's taking me quite a long time to get used to the new hand position, which results in my not having a good grip on the mouse and having difficulty clicking either button without moving the mouse, and a lot of difficulty double clicking it and having the computer recognize it as a double click. I believe this has more to do with my adaptability and learning to use my left hand than with the design of the mouse.

But, when I get it right, the mouse is very comfortable in my hand and works quite nicely.

Similarly, I'm having trouble moving the mouse pointer or cursor accurately. I'm also having trouble adjusting the dpi. There's a button and their advertising mentions that there are three different resolutions, but the instructions that come with the unit are very sketchy and do not describe how to adjust the setting at all. You're on you own on this one, and I'm not sure that I've figured it out yet myself.

An ergonomic mouse is considerably higher than a traditional mouse. Keep in mind that if you are using your mouse on a retractable keyboard/mouse tray, this may require you to have to lower the tray in order to allow room for the mouse to fit when you slide it under the work surface.

And, one final detail: The additional height of the mouse also means that you have to raise your hand higher to get it over the mouse when you move your hand from the keyboard to the mouse. I seem to forget this often and so my mouse hits the floor frequently when my hand knocks it off of the tray.

Recommendation: If you're looking for a good quality ergonomic left-handed mouse, this is one to consider.

A couple of weeks ago I got tendonitis in my thumb from drawing and gaming too much. I bought two of these for each hand so that I had one for my left hand while my dominant hand was recovering, and one for my right hand for when my hand recovers. Somehow I got into the situation where both were plugged in on each side of my keyboard. I switch between them regularly. Both of these fit in the hands so well and even though I am absolutely hateful of mice with extra buttons due to accidentally pushing them, they really are not in the way at all. If you have Windows 10 the buttons and sensitivity are fully customizable so please ignore anyone criticizing these points. The track wheel is fantastic. They are well balanced. The material is smooth and pleasant to touch. The blue LEDs are pretty and fashionable. good quality. I am never going back to a normal mouse again. I would have spent twice as much money on these if I knew how nice they would be. It baffles me these are not sold in the average tech section of a department store.

I can use the mouse for my dominant hand without my injury flaring up at all. unfortunately I don't have a lot of control over the accuracy of the mouse because my hand brace slows my arm movement but I have no complaints about smoothness of the cursor.
when these break down I will be buying another. never ever ever going back to Amazon basics. these are plug-and-play also so don't worry. the perfect mouse.

I love this mouse with a couple caveats

This is a great mouse for left handed folks. It's vertical design is very comfortable and easy on the wrist. There are only two things that I would change about it.
1) As others have stated I found the L/R buttons to be reversed. Maybe you can live with it or if you're hand you can modify it. I took it apart and reversed the first and second wire beside the red striped wire. Now the buttons work as expected.
2) It could used a tactile coating in the thumb area to make it feel more secure in the hand.
Other than that I love it so far.
