As a vegan chef I do not like using plastic at the Farmers' Market, grocery outlets or anywhere else. I either use glass or bamboo containers for grains, nuts , spices etc. For produce I am so glad t o find these ORGANIC Cotton produce bags, and have even sent them as a gift to my sister. She said it has been her favourite gift! I am trusting that with enough people purchasing them, the price can be reduced so that everyone will start using them, because we all need to do this in order to replace the incessant addiction to plastics.

Lightweight,easy-to-use, easy-to-wash and cotton. What more could you ask for? They do shrink a lot, so keep that in mind. I thought the XL would be way too big, but after washing, it's perfect. The smallest are pretty small, so good for a few limes or a couple lemons, that kind of thing. I didn't rate the specific features because I haven't had them that long, but I suspect we will be using these for many years to come.

These bags are well made and easy to use. Since I already have reusable grocery bags, it is easy enough to keep these in the same place/remember to use them, etc. My only issue is that they average about an ounce each (each bag lists its weight on its tag). This wouldn't be a problem if checkers at the grocery knew how to properly subtract the tare weight (weight of the container) from the scale, but not a single one so far has been able to do it/figure it out, so I end up paying a little extra for fruits and veggies that are sold by weight. However, it isn't much money for most things, and I feel so much better about not putting more plastic into the landfill.

I love the variety of sizes, it fits my produce shopping needs. You can buy little things like ginger, limes; medium sized for apples, onions; and big bags can handle leafy vegetables. Bags are durable, and have a side tag for the tare weight (although not many places can enter that at will, I think). Bags are also easy to clean.

One slight drawback that the mesh is quite dense, so it's hard to see through and read some produce code numbers, but you can easily get around by just rummaging around a little bit. A great alternative to single use plastics at stores.

I bought these to replace the plastic bags and store my veggies in the fridge. I specifically picked the organic cotton ones. The reviews were great so went with these. I washed them in my washer's delicate cycle in cold water and line dried them as soon as I receive it. However after washing it for the first time they shrank to the half size. So, I can only probably use the largest one since the small ones are very small now.

No me llegaron correctamente. 4 chicas y 2 medianas. La calidad no es aceptable. No es como se muestra en la imagen. Físicamente el precio es muy alto para el producto. Y lo peor que no me enviaron las grandes eso es fraude. Quiero la devolución de mi dinero.

Hi, ich habe mir die Obst -und Gemüsebeutel von #allcottonandline bestellt, damit ich nicht mehr die Tomaten in Plastiktüten oder Leinbeutel einzupacken. Grund: Plastiktüten sind schlecht für die Umwelt und die Tiere. Leinbeutel sind bisschen schwerer als die Beutel von #allcottonandline.

Verarbeitung:
Die Obst -und Gemüsebeutel von #allcottonandline sind sehr gut verarbeitet und haben dementsprechend eine gute Qualität. Die halten sehr viel aus (z.B. 3Kg Kartoffeln) und sind auch sehr einfach zu waschen (entweder kurz mit den Händen waschen oder bei niedriger Temperatur in die Waschmaschine), wenn sie dann mal schmutzig sind.

Gewicht:
Das die Beutel ein Eigengewicht haben ist unabdingbar, aber man sollte sich selbst die Frage stellen: Ist es mir wichtig 20-50 Gramm pro Beutel zu sparen und damit etwas gutes für die Umwelt und Tiere tun, oder benutze ich weiterhin Plastiktüten?
Hier die Gewichte der Beutel.
L = 49 Gramm
M = 30 Gramm
S = 24 Gramm

Die einen oder anderen haben es vielleicht schon mitbekommen. Der Einzelhandel "REWE" hat seine eigenen Mehrwegbeutel im Sortiment. Fand ich am Anfang ganz cool das Rewe so etwas anbietet, doch leider musste ich feststellen, dass diese Beutel aus Plastik (Polyester) sind und das geht ein bisschen am Ziel vorbei. Wer jetzt glaubt man könne mit den Beutel von #allcottonandline bei Rewe einkaufen der hat sich leider geirrt. Bei Rewe kann man nur mit den Beutel von Rewe einkaufen. Geht man trotzdem mit den Beutel von #allcottonandline an die Kasse, sind die KassierInnen verpflichtet den Inhalt aus den Beuteln zu nehmen und separat abzuwiegen.

Falls noch fragen zum Beutel sein sollten, einfach fragen :)

Sacs achetés pour remplacer sacs plastiques ou papier lors achats fruits et légumes. Contenance plus grande qu’il n’y parait permet de réellement y loger sans problème les achats effectués. Excellente idée d’avoir prévu plusieurs tailles car permet de faire un rangement par catégorie. Très pratiques, les plus petits sacs permettent d’y mettre les petits achats en vrac( graines, céréales, riz,...)
Et pour tous les sacs, rangement très rapide à la maison de tous les achats.
Excellente qualité et practicité d’autant plus qu’ils sont lavables. Très bien conçus avec leur lien coulissant,semblent solides mais achat trop récent pour en témoigner. Peut-être un petit peu cher car en simple coton, même s’il est de qualité, mais justifie’ au regard du caractère simple mais astucieux. J’en recommande l’achat sans réserve.
