As a senior who has been into numerous martial arts (Judo, Jujitsu, Karate-Do, Krav Maga, Boxing, Wrestling, Combatives, and Police Defensive Tactics) and combat fitness (SEAL fitness routines and other military training exercises, HIT routines, Tactical Aerobics and numerous others) program for more than 65 years I am always looking for unique and new types of ways to improve my overall fitness.

Even though I was aware of the “Battle Rope” programs as one of the fitness activities of many professional and amateur athletes; however, I never had to opportunity to train on them. Since I am limited as to space to do my workouts I knew that the 30 foot size of battle rope would not work for me. When I recently saw this product (20 feet of colorful Tug of War Rope-thick tug-o-war rope for outdoor, fun activities, and sports, perfect for sport meets and party games) on Amazon for a bargain price I purchased it with the idea of using it for the numerous battle rope exercises. I just received this great thick sturdy rope and found it to be a fantastic piece of exercise equipment. The only problem is that the thick 20 foot rope is still a little too long for my apartment, but it is still a great piece of workout gear.

If you’re limited to space and want to add battle rope exercises to your exercise routine you may want to check out this tug of war rope which is 20 feet long and a lot cheaper than the 30 feet battle rope. Plus you do not need to anchor this rope to use it in a wide variety of exercises.
