  • Use with exceptional comfort and confidence. The DryBuddyFLEX has a small, light and only water-resistant sensor/transmitter in the industry. This is the only item worn on the patient’s body or clothes and provides unmatched comfort and safety from damage by liquids.
  • Enjoy the comfort of not wearing any alarm box on the body or clothing.
  • Innovation and Technology to help the user and caregiver:

Use it straight out of the box. Nothing needs to be set. Customize it as you learn more.

To immediately use it out-of-the-box, only do the following:

  • Connect the Transceiver to its Power Supply, and plug the Power Supply into an electric socket (see diagrams provided)
  • Attach the magnetic sensor to the briefs at the location where urine comes out of the body (for girls) or a little lower (for boys).
  • Place the flat magnetic cap on the inside of the briefs at its desired location, and attach the flat surface of the magnetic sensor at this location on the outside of the briefs, so the briefs are clamped between the flat pads of the magnetic sensor and the cap. For boy’s underwear, attach the flat surface of the magnetic sensor on the inside of the briefs, and the sensor inside the pouch (or pocket) (see diagrams provided).
  • Make the child or user put on the briefs.
  • Switch the system “on” by pressing the button on the transceiver or the “ON” button on the remote. The light on the transceiver will change to Green.
  • Switch the system “off” by pressing the button on the transceiver or the “OFF” button on the remote. The light will change to Yellow.

Indications

The DryBuddyFLEX helps with children of age five and older to cure bedwetting problems, or as recommended by a medical authority. It also alerts caregivers and patients for patients with incontinence or other urine control problems when the patient may not be awake, or is unable to sense the wetness and may need assistance. The caregiver must be responsible for making certain that the patient is responsive when the alarm sounds, and wakes up and does the needful.

Directions

PLEASE NOTE: When any bedwetting alarm is first used with children, the child may not be able to stop urination upon hearing the alarm and will void himself/herself. Although the alarm may sound promptly, this involuntary voiding creates the false impression that the alarm did not sound promptly and therefore the child is wet. With some time and experience, the child should learn to stop urinating upon hearing the alarm, and then to sense bladder pressure and not urinate involuntarily.

Didn't get much farther than opening the box. The seal was already broken, clearly opened. No instructions were included. The button on the alarm was jammed in and broken. The sensor was scratched up, making me think that this bed wetting alarm was used, despite the seal stating that the product cannot be returned if opened or used. So I received a product possibly covered in someone else's urine. Disgusted.

We started this March 2nd and it is now March 18th. It started with waking up to the alarm 2 to 3 times a night, some nights maybe 4 times, and getting tiring! My child started to not want to do it anymore about a week in a half in, but now has been dry for three nights and no alarm has been going off!! I can't believe how well this works!
It is really tiring at first but keep with it and it sure seems to just turn around quick!
As far as the magnetic sensor that goes on the underwear my child never complained about it bothering him or hurting or anything. We used our own underwear and didn't order the ones that can come with the device.

We tried it for the first time last night and I was laughing in the middle of the night. The trumpet sound sounds like his Royal highness is entering😂 it didn’t detect fast enough so I’m thinking about changing the spot on the undergarments
The best part is that my kid woke up quickly! I usually walk him to the restroom and he doesn’t remember in the morning. Good start

This worked really well for a few weeks. It then stopped working. I don’t know if it is a short in the wires or what. We emailed customer service and they had us talk to a tech who agreed it was malfunctioning. They said they would send a new one. That was two months ago. We have emailed and called, but with no response. Their email does not seem to be working anymore. I am wondering if this company is still in business. I would not buy this product.

After trying what seemed like everything, i finally bit the bullet and invested in something I should’ve tried a long time ago: the dry buddy system. Let’s be clear; It is NOT a magical elixir, but instead a helper and confidence booster to anyone with bladder control issues. My son is now confident in himself and has “beat the alarm” for week long streaks. Every streak gets longer and longer and soon, he’ll be ready to sleep without it. Until then, it has helped him teach himself how to wake when or before he has to relieve himself. It came with excellent instructions and, if read in their entirety BEFORE use, will work from the onset. The alarm is insanely loud (my son has slept through an actual tornado, but wakes when he hears the dry buddy siren). The alarm can even be heard on the opposite end of the House, waking me in the dead of sleep. I also felt it to be the safest option as there is no wire for my son to wrap around himself while he sleeps- Completely wireless.

We have traveled a long road for my oldest to be dry at night. He trained during the day at a normal age but he turned 8 in May and despite using another pad and alarm system for 16 weeks he was still wet at least three nights a week. This other system had an included online tracking calendar for adding stars on nights that he was dry, pre-recorded online sessions with exercises and encouragement from a doctor, and the reviews were excellent. The only reason we can see why it didn't work for him and the longest streak of consecutive dry nights he had was about 10, was because he sleeps on his back and it took too long for the wetness to get down to the pad and make the alarm go off. By the time he woke up his bladder was completely empty. Within three nights of using the Dry Buddy system attached to the front of his underwear we no longer had to change the sheets on his bed and still haven't had to a month into the process. Our agreement with him is that he will keep wearing it until he is dry for a month consecutively, and unfortunately after 3 weeks he had one night of a late bedtime and some sugary treats and juices at a party before bed and he was awoken at midnight by his alarm. However, even in the presence of this one setback the results we have had with this system have been night and day compared to the pad and alarm system. Our son is also completely responsible for putting this on at night and turning it on before he goes to bed, it has just become part of his routine. The magnetic closure is very strong so you must be careful not to catch any skin in it but we have not had any problems.
Comment about customer service. When we received our alarm the button on the top of the unit will not turn the system on, you have to use the remote control, even though the instructions say you should be able to do it either way. I tried resetting the device and nothing work so I contacted the company to get a replacement unit. I left a voicemail on the number provided and I also wrote an email and did not get a response from either one. In my book that is completely disheartening and unsatisfactory when you spend this much money for a system.

Our son was potty trained very quickly during the day using the Oh Crap method. But at night, whether we restricted his water or woke him up on a schedule, he would seem to make progress and then just pee in his sleep again. He's a deep sleeper, so he'd sleep right through it. After 3 weeks of waking him up at 12 and 3am, we were sick of it.

Then we tried the sensor, and it immediately changed things. Feedback was immediate, he knew exactly when he peed and that he had to get up. After 4 days, he didn't have another wet bed, but it took another 2 months to get him to give up the sensor because he grew attached. 10/10, get it and get your sleep back!

I've only had this a few days, and when it works, it helps my son get up and go to the bathroom. But...sometimes it doesn't. Seems to be dependent on placement in the underwear, and the strange thing is, I put it in the same place each night so why some nights it works and some nights it doesn't is a mystery. Sometimes the underwear is wet EVERYWHERE EXCEPT where the sensor is. I wish it would work consistently, because otherwise I don't see this system working at all. Consistency with something like this is key to making lasting changes, and so not working every night is a problem, particularly at this price. Unfortunately, this is not a returnable item (says so on the box before you break the seal), so unless I figure this out where it works consistently, I just wasted $120, which is not awesome at all.
