Always Start with a Clean Grill

Clean that surface area Good! This should be done just after the last cook off for hygiene and ease of use! No one wants to have to deal with bits of food that might as well be glued to your grill. Use the Mountain Grillers Grill Brush straight after cooking and save your self one giant headache!

Use Separate Utensils as You Grill

After using your Mountain Grillers Tongs to put raw meats, seafood or poultry on the grill, clean them thoroughly with hot soapy water before using them again to remove cooked foods. We know it's a pain to just use one set of tongs while working the grill, so use two sets of utensils, after all, you own 2 now! One for raw meats and the other set for cooked foods.

Leave the Dishtowels in the Kitchen

I bought these in August of 2018. It is now May of 2022. So they are almost 4 years old. Spring hasn't broke on mine. The rubber does eventually come out of the handle, but they work fine without it. I put them in the dishwasher all the time. Spring is also stainless (a flaw I've run into on some other brands was the spring rusting out). They are easy to use, the spring closes very easily unlike the 1 piece type tongs that need a lot of squeezing to keep closed.

UPDATE: After contacting the seller, they quickly replaced the tongs - excellent customer service. As a precaution, I've placed a few drops of oil on the springs and will make sure to dry them before putting away. Hopefully, they'll last a long time. These are really the best tongs I've used, very heavy duty. and the longer pair is my favorite, as my Big Green egg can get pretty hot, the length keeps my hands away from the flames! This was exactly what I needed and wanted. BBQ on a kamado at charcoal level zone requires long tongs 16" or you get burned at 900 degrees plus. Even with gloves the heat is pretty intense. The Mountain Grillers Tong Set is great, exactly what I was looking for!

I love that they come in 2 sizes. We have a Big Green Egg and when we're grilling with really hot coals, the longer tongs allow me to handle food over a hot grill without burning my hand.

The sliding lock is very sturdy, unlike others I have used in the past. I also like that it's part of the O ring for hanging the tongs on the hook. Very good use of the sliding lock.

Die beiden Zangen sind wirklich empfehlenswert !
Obwohl sie relativ dünn sind, sind sie sehr stabil.
Selbst mit der langen Zange hat man genügend Kraft um auch größere Stücke Fleisch zu halten, ohne dass sie von der Zange rutschen, oder sich das Material verbiegt .
Die Gummierung am Griff ist sehr angenehm, und dient auch als sehr guter Hitzeschutz .
Durch die verwendeten Materialien sind die Zangen spülmaschinenfest.
Die Öse auf der Rückseite ist nicht nur zum Aufhängen gedacht, sondern man kann sie auch verschieben, sodass die Zange in zusammengeklappten Zustand arretiert werden kann. Das macht eine Reinigung im Geschirrspüler wesentlich leichter .
Das Loch der Hülse hat einen Durchmesser von 9 mm, ist also für sämtliche Aufhängevorrichtungen geeignet .

Fazit: Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis, sehr stabil, angenehmes Arbeiten und anschließendes Reinigen möglich

Olvídate de las antiguas pinzas finitas con una pala y una especie de tenedor que al intentar manipular piezas grandes te volvías loco.

Realmente útiles, la longitud es perfecta. Tiene suficiente fuerza para dar vuelta a chuletones de 1 KG sin problema. Para piezas mas grande con las 2 pinzas lo manipulas también sin problemas (costillares, picañas, etc).
Las palas son generosas permitiéndote manipular alimentos de pequeño tamaño, incluso si estos son delicados.

De verdad, por este 15€ tener estas dos pinzas Calidad/Precio esta muy bien y al venir 2 unidades siempre le puedes dar unas a un amigo para que ayude y no estén mirando mientras tu trabajas
