Nice for the price
I researched best external DVD drives for laptops and this was #1 based on price, ease of use, and quality. I don’t know anything about this type of product so I purchased trusting the review. It was fairly easy to set up - the instructions are printed small and in many languages. I needed to download a free app on my computer to watch the movies that I purchased this for. I didn’t use the disk that came with it. The review said it was a bit noisy but I didn’t notice any noice except when ejecting the DVD. I also had a difficult time inserting the DVD as it didn’t just slide in. I had to press it onto the center deal so too much effort there could break the tray. It is a little flimsy so should be handled with care. I am happy with this purchase.
