Got this for my small porch. Worked great at for about a month. It then started tripping my electrics on the porch. I would just turn it off and then back on - all would be good. But - it would do that every night. Moving forward a few weeks - the on/off switch stopped working. But - I would sill plug it in and it would come one and heat, Moving forward a few days after that - it is totally dead. So - for a couple of months - it was a good heater. That is it. Then - trying ti adjust it to get it to work - well - the plastic broke. See picture. I would not suggest this unit,

Like many people during Covid, I had been looking for ways to socialize outdoors as the weather gets colder. Tried two different outdoor heaters before this and neither of them was any good. I'm delighted to report that this one worked great.
It came with all the parts and had directions that were actually easy to follow. Took less than an hour to put together. (Definitely don't bother with the paid assembly.) The lamp is stable and you can adjust the height and angle of the heating element. Most importantly, it puts out a good amount of heat as soon as you turn it on. You can easily feel it several feet away.

The instructions were not included and I had to contact the company to get them. The instructions were not clear but, after a few wrong turns, the heater was assembled. The remote was also missing but was mailed from the company, after I contacted them, and received about 5 days later. The remote is pretty useless. You have to be standing directly in front of the unit and not too far away for it to work. It heats well and will turn off if it is knocked over.

Product arrived with all kinds of things rattling around in the box. Turned out, the bag containing the assembly hardware had broken and nuts and bolts etc were rattling around the box. After I had begun assembly I noticed that the base was bent, I thought, it still is sturdy, so let's move on, too much trouble to send back. Towards the end of the stand assembly I come across a bolt that was too long to tighten properly, I found a washer which solved that problem, again, too much trouble to send back. So I moved on to the actual heating unit and the closer I looked, the more I realized that this wasn't brand new stuff, lots of little scratches, dings and scuffs. Maybe it had been recycled once or twice, but, really a lot of trouble to return at this point. So, I have this unit which is working fine and I'm hoping that it will for a while, but it is annoying that it looks sort of used and maybe it isn't new. It's becoming a concern as to how much confidence I have in Amazon.
