Perfect for what I needed. Narrow enough to fit in small areas between toilet and other obstacles, or in front of toilet next to a wall out of the way. It came with an allen wrench to tighten the two sections, by way of a provided bolt and washer, and it securely fastened the two pieces together, the base and toilet paper section. Mine is designed to hold a minimum of three rolls of toilet paper below the T P arm which is hinged and rises up into a straight up position in order to slide rolls down below the hinged section. It is sturdy, does not tip easily, the TP does not come off its holder easily as in accidentally, and I'm very pleased with it. You can actually put four rolls of toilet paper below the roller but a new roll of toilet paper doesn't unroll easily if there are four roles initially. Four rolls down below would not work with a oversized roll of TP on the short roll arm....it really is designed for three extra rolls down below.

When I lifted the bar up to load more toilet paper there was a very sharp edge that cut my finger. Hopefully this was an isolated event and all of them aren't that way. The design is excellent and it looks good.
