We love this tent. The first time we set it up was an experience but we got it eventually. The yellow tab poles go into the sides with the yellow canvas (did not notice this for awhile). Also the red canvas around the door should be showing so you know the screened area goes on the other side. The instructions are a bit difficult to decipher especially for take down. Good luck following the pictures to fold it because they do not match what is printed. The good news however is that once you get it set up the first time, It goes up in about 10 minutes.
Unfortunately, we put our tent up to water proof it since we were caught in the rain when we first used our tent. The tent did not leak as is out of the package but we wanted to make sure it was good for our up coming trip. We were not expecting rain but guess what? about 2 hour after we waterproofed our tent (not covered up) we got a down pour. The waterproofing did its job but there was some water in the tent from the original rainfall. So with my tent up for the night to dry we got hit with yet another unexpected storm while we were at work. The tent tumbled into my neighbors yard where I had to rescue it in the middle of another storm from the chain link fence. It say in a ball under my deck for a week because of more storms. Fast forward an entire week later we were able to set the tent back up for inspection. It survived with a split post piece and a decent sized hole in the rain cover. Unable to find a decent patch or replacement cover we decided we loved this tent enough to reorder. We had to reschedule our trip anyways due to other circumstances so we had time.
This tent is by far worth the money and a great size for family camping.
No pictures please. The night before last my significant other and I slept in the tent. We had agreed to sleep out in it during a stormy night and lately here in Detroit, there have been too many in comparison. It was another perfect night. The tent stayed to it's durability the entire time. We zipped down the flaps to the windows for ventilation and the fact that it got a bit warm. If you keep your tent up during rains be sure to wipe the outter lower parts of the tent because the settled moisture will eventually seep through. I love it's roomy interior. We put a small television in there on a table and we have also had a few movie nights. Children love that. Over all: #Perfect Thank you Ozark and thank everyone else for reading my post. It is fun.
Used this tent for the first time last weekend and it is great! Right out of the box it was easy to put up, fit the queen mattress just like it said it would (we only used one but could tell it would easily fit 3 of them) and it even rained at night while we were there and no leaks. This tent was exactly what I wanted and what I expected from the description and at a great price.
It’s a good tent. Does have a lot of space but this tent does leak. Had some light rain and anything near the sides got wet. We all had to sleep in the middle of the tent to avoid sleeping in wet studd
Awsome tent have used it on three trips the shortest trip was 2.5 weeks. Went through a tornado one night on another trip it rained for four days straight. Held up and I'm still using it.. make sure you stake it properly. I do not recommend this tent if you haven't set one up similar before there wasn't any instructions.
Once we set the tent up we noticed that it was missing a metal peg used to hold one of the tent poles in place. We looked over the directions closely and had others look as well to make sure that we weren't missing something and everyone concluded that the piece was just missing. We had to rig something up just to keep one of the side rooms from collapsing. Now the product appears to be out of stock so I doubt the company would be able to replace this for me.
The tent was nicely sized and seemed to be in otherwise good condition. I can't say how it would hold up to the rain, as I have only used it the one time.
