What can I say about Sony? The quality of the TV is great. The size is huge but fits perfectly on my wall. The remote is great and comes with an Google assistant button. which means it can integrate with the rest of my house and I can turn it on from pretty much anywhere. The screen is clean. The image is crisp and high in color and definition. It is very bright and can light up the room. The Tv nice and thin and has a wall mount spot right on the back if you don’t want to have it on its legs. I will be using this TV for a long time

Preface: I purchased this via Amazon and they sold and delivered it. 12 years ago I bought the 58 Panasonic Plasma, they also sold and delivered. I was impressed with the deliver and handling back then and only trusted them to get the job done. Thus, I shopped for only TV's they handled. No I dont work for Amazon but have the highest regard for them considering never, have they let me down on a shipment. Once, and I had to laugh. I thought it was funny when I got a message from them that basically said 'we dont know where you package is and if you will ever get it'. I laughed. Thought it was funny. I got it, albeit a little late but it was in fine condition. Hey I'm an old man they humored me.

1. Amazon will advise you of the delivery time. You know the date and you must be there on that date to sign for it. My bad that I did not answer the call but my wife and I were getting spam calls from the west coast and this call was coming from the west coast so I ignored it.
2, Installers will unpack, let you inspect for damage, set the tv where you want it, turn it on and make sure it works. They are not there to fine tune it for you they have other deliveries.
3. PIcture is excellant. Of note, I have Cons Repts and there review got me to zero in on this model. You can save hundreds with the 850 model. This one had just a few more bells and whistles and I spent the extra for it.
3. I went into the Custom settings and used the settings that Cons Reports came up with in their testing lab. Irony is the tv was already on most of their setting so there is not a lot of diff there. I discovered going through all many choices you can select via their menu that Standard, and the Sports setting give you the best picture. Sports setting is very vibrant and bright, too much for my wife. We use the standard setting most.
4 A biggy and worry of mine in this tv selection process ( I spent six months researching this) was angle viewing and sports blurry. We have two coaches at an angle to any tv we would get and I have to say the angle viewing is very good on this. Some of these led tv's you need to be in front of or the picture blurs. I sit at a 25 degree angle and no problem. Also, we watch a lot of hocky and football and there is zero blur or interruption. This tv is 240 hrz versus the 120 so you will get no motion disruption. I sit 13 feet from the tv by the way.
Last, I watched this tv at 2399 then it went to 1999 for a long time, then finally Amazon dropped it to 1799 and I was close, very close and I thought, come on drop it 200 more and they did. As soon as I saw it at 1599 I jumped all over it. Great buy. These wont last long at that price.

I upgraded from a 2011 Samsung 51 inch plasma 3D tv 1080p with native 60hz & the color & clarity is biggest difference. I've had the sony for 3 months and loving it. Having a gmail account is recommended to link youtube app. Android os runs smooth & all you need is in one menu (home button) like input selection, change apps, sleep timers, or universal settings. There are individual picture & sound settings per input. So if you have multiple hdmi inputs you need to setup each (cable box, bluray player, game system, etc). The built in chromecast uses same picture/sound settings as all the apps (amazon video, netflix, disney+ ). First thing I notice is high contrast (brightness). Very good in well lit rooms. If you watch a lot of movies or video games or have a 5.1 or higher sound system going thru each setting is not self explanatory to get it to your preference. Make sure to change motion flow in advance picture settings if you do not like soap opera effect. For video games set picture to Game mode as you will experience latency on fast paced games, but slower games (puzzles, strategy,etc) look smooth with motion flow on. HDR looks phenomenal. Only leave it to auto. If you want to see if 4k movie or a game has it on, once playing click Action menu on remote then picture settings. On the top right it will show words HDR if content is using it. HDMI arc return works well only I have an old receiver which I had to change sound output to "Dolby digital" as Dolby digital plus would give me static over HDMI or no sound through optical (toslink) cable.
Pros are: 4k quality, HDR variance (Dolby, HDR10, etc), internal speakers, apps ease of access, 4k streaming, remote has most of whats needed, google voice assistant use (using phone app or google home), ease of initial setup.
Cons are: sleep timer not on remote & have to go to universal home settings which if using streaming app hitting Home closes the app, picture/sound advance settings not self explanatory, only 2 hdmi ports support 4k 60hz with one being same ARC hdmi port to receiver/soundbar, Display button does not show as much detail as older decade old Sony XBR tvs.

Had this unit a few days, and it is amazing! Black levels are great, and its color accuracy is near perfect. I calibrated using Rtings.com calibration settings, but went up to 20 brightness and it looks Superb! Hooked it up to the Sony UBP-X700 and watched Spiderman: Homecoming, amazing shadow detail and motion handling during action scenes.

Have also done a good amount of gaming on my PS4 Pro and watching Netflix through the TV app. TV handles input lag very well, did not notice any during games like Apex legends, Madden 19, and Star Wars: Battlefront 2, very smooth in my opinion.

Almost all Netflix content had some static to an extent, but I think that is the stream, not the tv. Discs have no static. There is also a digital noise reducer setting i just noticed, I dont think I had that on when watching netflix.

Blooming is there, but it never bothers me, it only appears during loading screens and some title menus. But I have not noticed it during a game or movie yet.

I did not test the TV's speakers since I have it hooked up to my AV receiver and surround sound

Overall an amazing television, great picture quality and motion handling. Limited number of dimming zones does cause blooming sometimes, but not enough to worry

I was looking for a 65" tv and did a lot of research. Most of my TV watching is from streaming apps like Netflix, Amazon prime etc. So I need to have a solid os built in. It has Dolby vision on it and looks great with Stranger Things. It has a few modes to set video preference and at night it looks fantastic and greatly improves our TV experience. It has been over a month now. It has Dolby digital pass-through and ARC. It is totally worth the money and it can be a great TV for home theater.

This is my first time owning a TV after 5-6 years not using a TV so it takes me a little bit of time in getting used to this TV LOL.
- This Sony X900F is a great 4k TV with impressive picture quality with a variety of picture modes that you can access to like gaming, cinema home/pro, vivid color, sport, etc. . The TV shows really high quality of pictures especially in a dark room due to the high native contrast ratio and full array local dimming support.
- Even though I only bought the 49 inches version of this Sony TV, it's pretty big I can say since I only have it for my bedroom and I locate it at the far end of my bed so that I can easily enjoy watching YouTube and playing games from my PS 4 Pro on this 49 inches screen.
- 4K content from my PS4 Pro is displayed beautifully on this TV with amazing response time and high level of brightness.
- The TV excels at HDR as it can produce bright, vivid highlights.
- Motion handling is also excellent due to the fast response time and ability to flicker the backlight to clear up motion.
- The main negative is the narrow viewing angle, so the best image quality is reserved for those directly in front of the TV. In addition, even though ELECTRONIQUE HI-FI INC. is known for their reputation and they did a good job in sending me a GOOD and BRAND NEW product, but their delivery partner - Lommis Express - is not that good. Their live chat staff seem to just want to finish their job with the customers since they always ask me whether I am done asking even though I only asked them a few simple questions to keep track on my parcel because it was delivered LATER than it was expected and Loomis' tracking system is not helpful at all . I had 3 times live chatting with Loomis and their staff's attitude are kind of rude and not customer's friendly even though I am really polite to them. However, the delivery guy was nice and he did a good job in picking up and delivering my TV.
Overall, a great TV to have, especially for those who are not really concerning about its a bit high price, I got this one on sale so it's good enough to me. Despite its price, high quality, stability and satisfaction are what you will definitely get back in return.

Matt finish and not strikingly sharp images like the QHD Samsung and OLED LG tv's where it hurts your eyes. Just what a TV should be. No dead pixels out of the box, and really easy to set up and start using. The colors are extremely impressive as the black levels on the LCD panel is exceptional. Colors have more contrast, and cinematic movies has more detail coming out due to the deep black levels which enhances the brightness of dark areas. It is not the grey back light that makes the screen brighter. Sound quality can be better, but it is on par with all other premium TV's on the market.
