For the price, I had to try these. I ordered two. I wiped them down and sprayed a coat of rustoleum “hammered finish”. They look grate! and I’m hoping that the rustoleum keeps the rust/stains that were mentioned in the comments away.

Love this for my clay work. I didn't want to spend a fortune on a banding wheel and this fit the bill perfectly. It's heavy weight won't tip under any circumstances I've found, it spins beautifully without a hint of a wobble, and the finish is perfect.

This is my first turntable for art and it has dramatically improved the experience. The unit glides smoothly. I am not concerned about the rusting others have experienced as I don’t use it for any type of wet media but appreciated knowing that was an issue for some before purchase.

I got an aluminum one as well to use with wet stuff but I bought a used one that had been dropped which resulted in a crack. I think if this one was dropped the cast iron would break not crack if anything happened at all. Still I’m careful with it, and I love it. I love the smoothness with which it spins and I love the weight of it. The heaviness is necessary I feel to spin just right. The aluminum version is not like that.

If this broke for any reason, I would be buying another one tomorrow. It’s now a staple art tool to me. Can’t live without it.

I use this to work on when I make concrete flower pots. It turns so easily and will hold things that get pretty heavy, especially like concrete. Makes working on all sides very easy. If you leave it outside like I do, be sure to cover it with plastic so it does not get wet or it will rust.

This will be an excellent addition to my studio~!! There is a tiny, slight hint of a wobble, but I don't think it is significant enough to be noticed (If it effects decorating my pots evenly, I'll come back and update my review) ...even if it did...for the price and quality of what was received, I would recommend this without hesitation.
