From the manufacturer
Hunting success begins with the element of surprise. That's what Ameristep has been giving hunters for over 20 years: ground blinds and accessories that cleverly conceal positions from up above and down below.
Ameristep is proud to be an innovator in the industry, continually seeking new solutions to help hunters disappear. That disappearing act is only part of the story, though. Versatile mobility in all our product designs lets you choose the location that's right " not the location that’s convenient. Once you're there, simplified assemblies mean you can set up quickly and capitalize on the moment. Additional key features eliminate elements like scent, noise, reflection to make sure you stay hidden.

Enough for two people
easy peasy sasquatch setup
There are some small holes in the seams but thats why they make seam sealer - dont complain about it just fix it or throw it away. If you are umbday enought to sit in a blind with holes and have water come in then it true - you caint fix umbday.
Fast, forgiving - used it three seasons and still together but i do wax the zippers and take my timme setup and breakdown not leaving any bugs, leaves or rodent entry points.
Two people "can" fit in this blind, but that is it...they fit. This is the same with all blinds, tents, stands, boats. If you want to have two hunters in a blind, buy a bigger blind. I bought, and use this as a one man blind. I am not going to buy a 4'7"X4'7" tent and cry because two 250lb men aren't comfortable inside. Also I've seen bad reviews about the velcro mesh...IT'S SHOOT THRU MESH!!! Stop messing with it while your hunting.
The door is a problem. It's small, for no reason. I have face planted going into the blind a couple times. The zipper is loud (also on my $350 blind), and I feel it should have a fiberglass rod, with toggles as an option for while you're in the blind, so you don't scare every deer within 300 yards out of the county. This is a modification I will be making to all my blinds during the off season. The door has three zippers, leave the bottom one at the bottom. There are two loops at the bottom zipper, I have tied these two loops together. If you collapse the blind with the bottom zipper up, or the loops free, the blind will grenade on you.
The stakes are a joke. If you trust these to secure your blind, you should have to hunt it down after every gust of wind. Buy some real stakes. I use 3/8"x8" spikes with washers, and use the brush loops to tie off to trees.
I like that you can drop the windows halfway or fully. I just wish you could raise them halfway, but they are sewn at the bottom.
I have not brushed my blind in, and after 2 days have had deer and turkey walk up to it. 5 deer were taken within 10 yards this year.
Overall this is a good one person blind that can be setup in about 3 minutes. If you keep it out of direct sunlight, and remove it at the end of the season, I feel it will last several years.

I’d have to say it did it’s job. Did the buck spook from the blind or me inside? Not sure which but we are required to wear blaze orange even while inside of a blind in PA. It did provide the opportunity for a shot had that buck been legal.
It snowed the next day and the blind was covered in 4-5” of snow. When I set up, I had taken paracord and tied all of the hubs open, including the top so the blind held up under the weight.
I did not treat the outside with camp dry for this hunt but I will be doing that before spring turkey season. After I was in the blind with it snow covered, the snow started to melt and any place that I touched, especially on the top, began to bead up and leak. Still I was comfortable and relatively dry.
The real challenge came at the end of the day when it was time to take the blind down and leave. It was wet, covered in ice and snow and very difficult to take down and pack. Fortunately, I used a trucker’s knots to tie the paracord so it was easy to untie. Because it was still frozen and wet it weighed 3-4 times more then usual making it difficult to pack out. I would have left it set up to dry out a few days but I had to return home the next morning.
All in all it was easy to set up and worked well but with challenges that were caused by the extreme weather conditions.
I would definitely recommend this blind.
