There are no instructions for loading the spool with string but I have experience loading all the major brands so I was able to figure out on my own but they should have instructions. I am 6’1” and it is the only trimmer I have used that feels good height wise for me.
I have used a Makita 4 stroke to clear a lot and a Stihl Fs90 to clear brush(loop handle with blade) and this is on par or better in some ways than both. Mine started right up and was easy to restart with one pull. Time will tell how this holds up. Manufacturer warranty is 2 years commercial or residential that’s really great.I couldn’t see any different between this and the husky brushcutter so I got this one for $50 less. This will see a fair amount of use at least a tank of gas a week or more so I hope it holds up.
Mine came with the Torx bit on the end of the plug nut wrench and a separate hex key along with the pin to change trimmer head.
Pros:
Plastic housing looks durable
Lightweight
Comfortable
Powerful 28 cc motor
Versatile
Other features as stated in description
Cons
Blade guard is big and slightly awkward when string trimming tight spots not a big deal and can simply remove
Handlebar adjustment is also slightly awkward for me.
Assembly takes about 5 minutes. The unit included an Allen key necessary to assemble handle bars but was without the torx (30 I believe) to attach the grass shield and harness hook. Not sure the need for torx screws.
Fuel tank is surprisingly small and best accessed with a funnel.
Unit started very easy and ran as it should with good throttle and power.
Bump feed grass head was preloaded with cord.
The unit was supplied with a metal 4 tipped grass blade for heavier grass clearing.
The unit shipped with a comfortable harness and small bottle of 2 stroke oil. No eye or hearing protection was included.
For those unfamiliar with the Jonsered brand they are essentially a rebrand husqvarna. I am not sure which is the premium brand of the two.
Quality is high. You wont find better at the orange or blue hardware chains and this is about half the price.
I have 6 or 7 brush cutters up to husqvarna 65cc clearing saw. My wife actually wanted this unit for her garden work but I have used and wouldn't question using this myself. While not intended for heavy brush - it should tackle most jobs the average yard could ask of it.

Okay, okay so why the 3 stars? 1. The gas tank is way small. If you have a large project you'll have to refill often. Not a hug deal as the machine probably needs a break too. 2. This thing sucks down fuel too. 3. The neck of the gas tank should be longer. If you are using a 2.5 gallon gas can you'll need a funnel. Filling from a pre-mixed fuel container is easier.
4. And the worst - The handle bar mount is weak. As in plastic. The mount was already on my machine when I unpacked it so all I had to do was add the handle bars. There are four screws going into this one plastic mount. Two from the bottom hold the mount to the trimmer pole and 2 more from the top to hold the handle bars. Install the bar was easy enough but while hand tightening the screws into the orange plastic that fastened them to the trimmer I could tell these could be over driven and stripped out easily. SO I took my time and made sure not to do that. Adjusting the trimmer was something that took time too. I had to use it for a bit then adjust, use it some more and adjust. I'm a short legged long arm guy so it took a bit to get it just right. As I made these adjustments I noticed that the mount to the trimmer was loose and sure enough one of the screws was stripped. This is from factory not something that I installed. So while operating the machine it will occasionally shift. Not all the time just if I happen to bump something as I am swinging from left to right.
I would totally have bought my own strap if the company would have spent a bit more and made the handlebar mount out of aluminum. I already have thought of how to fix this once it gets bad enough to make the use of the machine unsafe. I'll drill through the mount and use one long bolt and a nut to clamp it all down tightly. Or perhaps there is a metal one offered after market IDK.
The performance rates more than 3 stars but I should not have to be thinking of how to repair something after only 6 hours of use. No I have not contacted the seller because they should not be expected to catch crap for a design flaw. I will contact the maker and see if there is a solution there but honestly not expecting anything.
Finally - my back is not nearly as sore as it would have been using my standard orange and white trimming machine. So figuring a way to fix this machine is worth it to me. I just feel as though I should not have to.
