Other reviewers have mentioned the uselessness of the strap adjustor, and I agree with them. If you want a water bottle pouch that you can strap to your hand and carry in the "go" position without having to continually grasp it, this might not be the water bottle pouch for you. I'm a walker, not a runner, and for me it's no big deal to carry the pouch dangling from my hand. I do think that the strap is probably modifiable if you're willing to try. A safety pin maybe, or some velcro if you felt like making a real effort. Anyway, the strap is not a deal breaker for me, but it's definitely something people should be aware of before they make their decision. Personally, I'm happy with my purchase and would buy this item again.
I did a 3 mile trial run with it, and while the quality of the product seemed ok, I ended up returning this item for a couple reasons:
1. I don't need this much water and the bottle size was too big for me to be comfortable. In addition, the shape of the bottle isn't ideal for comfort. I found myself switching hands often.
2. While my Galaxy s21 Plus fit easily, the screen cover didn't fit snug against the screen and made using my phone quite difficult.
3. I found myself having to tighten the strap during my run.
I made the switch to a Nathan Speedshot Plus. I have yet to give it a go but I'm already happier with the size and the way it feels on my hand. Only downside is that it doesn't hold my phone...
It’s pretty comfortable in my hand while running. I can tighten it up to where I need it. I read that some struggle with this as they have small hands. I have medium to large hands and have no issue.
The water bottle is thin and light weight. Some have said it’s cheaply made. Not sure I agree. While it isn’t the best quality in the world, it seems pretty solid to me. Mine has not leaked a drop. I can even run with the spout open and it hasn’t ever splashed out. I think it’s thin on purpose - to save weight. And if you don’t like the bottle, others will fit in it’s place.
The unit is lightweight and appears to be good quality.
My hand used to hurt after holding my phone on a run...not any more! And now I can carry water and my phone with one hand! Very important since it’s been in the 100’s here in Phoenix.
I’m a fan!

The only thing I really dislike is the random strap on the handle, maybe I just hsvebt figured out the use for it?
