We needed a mirror for a bathroom we are remodeling and rather than buy a new one, I figured I'd try cutting the old one down to size. If it broke, I would only be out a little money for the glass cutter. Luckily, I was able to cut about 8-10 inches off of a big mirror and it cut very cleanly. I had never cut a piece of glass in my life, but I couldn't be happier with the results!
definitely worth it for the money. comfortable grip. the cutter worked great on 3/16 and 1/4 clear and mirror. even worked good on the pattern glass like aquatex. cutting heads are the same as the CRL`s T600 if u need replacement blades. never hurts to have acouple spares.
It is very easy to use and it has a beautiful looking. I used this to cut the glasses, and it works very well!!! I will definitely recommend to buy it, if you need to cut glasses!!!
Piece of junk, dont waste ur time or money. States on package that uses new 360 degree oil to help with cutting which sounds great. They leave out the fact that it comes empty with no oil at all. After finally buying oil at the store I used it once and broke. Even before it broke it barely scratched the surface of the glass and definitely didn't go through deep enough to cut anything. Save your money and buy one that actually works.
