An exclusive kit from CanaKit that includes the fastest model of the Raspberry Pi family - the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ (B Plus)!
The Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ is the latest production Raspberry Pi 3 featuring a 64-bit quad core processor running at 1.4 Ghz. It incorporates built-in WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity with enhanced dual-band 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2/BLE and faster Ethernet.

As far as product itself goes, it was packaged well and secure.
Instructions on assembly were super easy and actually helpful, unlike other suppliers that seems to send instructions with just a single sentence for each step that was extremely vague, the instruction BOOKLET that came with it was well designed. Gave links and info on software and storage needs depending on what you wanted to use it for.
Personally purchased it to build an Arcade Cabinet and load every video game that has come out from the first Atari all the to the Nintendo 64, including Arcade only titles...this thing handles it flawlessly and never gets warm. Was fun teaching my son , whom is 9, the basics of computers/programming and a little wood work. “Helped” me build it (Helped just means he didn’t have a choice in the matter lol). Incredible is just one of the many things you can call it, just make sure to research first what you want to do and make sure to leave a little bit of wiggle room when selecting the memory card you need, USB works great too. Thinking of getting one or two more of these to build another Arcade Cabinet for a gift to a family member, and the other to create my own automated software for either a CNC or 3D Printer, who knows, the possibilities are endless.
The Raspberry Pi 3+ and the latest Raspbian (2018-11-13-raspbian-stretch.img) are very well developed. The development team for Raspbian did a superb job in ensuring that all the Linux interfaces to the hardware works and optimized. Testing the latest Raspbian on my older Raspberry Pi 2 also showed significant improvements where the noticeable lag when using the GUI is now gone. Using the VNC feature also does not show noticeable lag. Due to the 1G RAM size, opening multiple browser tabs would still show some lag but this is expected. I've used the Raspberry Pi with Repetier Server for 3D printer monitoring, NFS and TFTP. Configuration was a breeze and did not run in to problems encountered with some of the other embedded Linux distros provided by some low cost Pi-like single board computers.
My only complaint about this kit is the case. Simply put, the corner nubs on the top just don't provide enough friction to keep it on. So as I was setting things up, the top cover just kept falling off. Now since space is at a premium, I had decided even before making this purchase, that I would be mounting the Pi on the wall where I have my network switches and router. Unfortunately, I am going to have to purchase a different case to accomplish this since the top of the case just won't stay on (short of taping it) when mounted on the wall.
That said, this is still a very decent starter kit and the issue with the top of the case shouldn't really concern you if you plan on just laying it on a desk/table/shelf, but be aware that the top is likely to fall off if you have to pick up your pi to plug another wire in, or to swap out the sd card, or otherwise have to move your pi. If the case were just a little better - clips or even a couple of screws to hold the top on, and this would have gotten 5 stars from me, but the fact that less than a few days after getting my kit, I've already begun shopping for a new case prevents me from going any higher than a 4, and frankly, it is enough of an annoyance that I would have given this 3 1/2 stars if that were possible.
