We took it to the UK with us for two weeks. A good feature is that it lights up with an unobtrusive blue glow when it receives power. Turns out that one can plug into the wall but not be getting power. When this is the case, look for a rocker switch close by. It will give power to the outlet. When you put the rocker switch in the correct position, the unit will light up and you can be assure power will be available.

Solid performance and really nice to have two USB connections in addition to electric. It never heated up or failed to work. The onlt thing is I wished the blue light wasn't so bright, but it was a minor annoyance.
