About this item

  • ✔️ DESIGN - "The difference is in our design, our focus in design is functionality." Ronin Wraps are made with the highest quality elastic material, perfect for pulling tight for the proper occlusion while still having the flexibility for full flexion and extension during your exercises.
  • ✔️ COMFORT - Our buckle is sleek and designed for complete comfort – no pinching at all. It’s super easy to pull tight and even easier to release the pressure once you’re finished training.
  • ✔️ FUNCTIONALITY - We know that proper occlusion happens with the proper width within the band, and the ideal width for the arms is different than the legs. The widths we use for the arms is 1.25 inches, for the legs it’s 2 inches – both are ideal widths for proper occlusion.
  • ✔️ VALUE - We offer the best value for your purchase. Our package is complete and includes occlusion training wraps for both upper and lower body training, a convenient carry bag, and a 21 page comprehensive eBook that includes an upper and lower body workout.
  • ✔️ GUARANTEE - Satisfaction and results are guaranteed! If you don’t like your new Ronin Wraps and you don’t get the results we promise, we’ll buy them back from you – no questions asked!

Yoshiaki Sato BFR

BFR Began in Japan

Yoshiaki Sato was 18 in 1966 when he accidentally stumbled upon the idea of occlusion training. After kneeling for a long period of time at a Buddhist ceremony, Sato's leg muscles got swollen and numb due to the lack of circulation. Over the next 7 years he experimented with BFR with his resistance training using different pieces of equipment. At the age of 25, Sato had a skiing accident and fractured his ankle and damaged the ligaments in his knee. The doctors told him it would take up to six months to heal. With a plaster cast on his lower leg, Sato rehabilitated himself with Kaatsu Bands applied to his upper leg. He did isometric exercises on his injured leg for 30 seconds, on and off, three times a day. The doctors were shocked when his muscles did not atrophy and he fully recovered within six weeks!

Over the next 9 years, Sato conducted research and developed the protocols that worked best for people of all ages and with various kinds of afflictions. With the ongoing research and the wide variety of applications, occlusion training is quickly becoming a popular way to strengthen and rehabilitate the body without putting it under heavy stress and weight resistance.

"I think occlusion training is going to be the most widely beneficial training method — good for people from 12 years old to 80 and from elite athletes and law enforcement and military to stay-at-home moms and dads. There's an application for every human on the planet with this."

– Bode Miller (Olympic Gold Medalist 2010)

Haven't had these for a month yet and they already broke. I don't know why the piece that holds the most of the tension is a piece of plastic. Not satisfied with the product, seems a bit cheap.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the money
Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2021
This was my first time using them. They're comfortable and easy to use and good quality faric. They can accommodate someone with larger arms and thighs as well. My thighs are around 15 inches around and I wear size 12/14. There was plenty of length left on the strap after I tightened it.
I was pleasantly surprised because I thought that they would be rigid and firm. I'm looking forward to getting some good results!
